Ok thanks. I'll give it 5 mins though, just in case we have different tastes.

I will report back.

How come they have some geezer telling you all about the film and showing you scenes from it just before you watch it?

I enjoy some of the American documentaries but before they start they give the game away by spamming the programme you are about to watch. Then, before a commercial break they tell you what's happening

Now.....

Next.....

Then.....

WTF??

BTW, you are right, it's a crap film.

you shouldve carried on watching it, he's character changes every 5 mins, it's funny.

the worst time being when the lead character, an introverted, neurotic ,understated croupier who aspires to be a writer nearly beats this hench Maltese guy that has cheated to death outside the casino because...........ready for this.............."I HATE CHEATS" Cool

I thoroughly enjoyed this film for the low brow nonsense it is........if there weren't any bad films how would we know what a good film looks like. I say rejoice in the mediocrity of it all

Clive Owen is really bad in it, it's a ropey plot anyway.

And that bollocks about passing out the wrong amount on his table test just to see if the pit boss was any good, he would never have got a job!

If you want to see a good Clive Owen film, watch Children of Men. I really don't like him as an actor, but that film rocks.

Nah, it's either Sin City or nothing for me.
