all cats should have pigeons amongst them so here goes....

has anyone else noticed that posts by the younger, male members of blonde tend to be somewhat extreme? read any thread you like and the opinions of the young males will generally be black or white.

adjectives used will be, on the one hand, "genius" and "awesome", or on the other hand "****".

on laddies, if you read the words "muppet", "retard", "moron" or "c***" in the chat box. look at the player profile and it will more or less always say.. "male. aged 18/25"

is it that grey areas only appear with grey hair? (or peroxide in tikay's case). does oestrogen bring with it balance and perspective? should all young, male poker players be injected with female hormones thus calming them and at the same time, replacing their man breasts with the real thing?

i look forward to reading your extreme reactions to this post. no half measures now boys.... the peer group is watching.

Hi Norman,

it's simply a case that us 'oldies' are slower to react and either: a./ by the time we've thought what expletives to type in, we can't be arsed to actually type them, or: b./ by the time we go to type in said expletives, we've completely forgotten what we were going to say, or even what we were going to react to !

Also, there is.....damn, forgot what I was on about now,

Ian.   Grin

I'd like some testosterone injections (not a euphemism). Not sure what disease one needs to contract to be allowed them, but I read an interview with some women who took it therapeutically for something or other, and they generally reported that it made them feel like a god come down to earth and it was well worth growing a beard and their voices dropping a bit for.

It's more than just voices dropping a bit for us boys !

Sorry, need my afternoon nap before I reply.

Just arrived in Edinburgh, & decided to treat myself to a suite in the Balmoral Hotel, it's really rather lovely.

I can see the trains coming & going to & from Edinburgh Station via 1 window, & Princes Street via another.

Oh, & there's a geezer, perched near my Room, in a sort of 1st floor alcove overlooking the Grand Reception Atrium below, & he's playing a.....harp.

Don't get THAT in a Travelodge, eh?

Now, what was the question, & who asked it?

Hush now, I'm trying to listen to the harpisterer. He's very good, as harp players go, got quite a nice selection of tuney things. A banjo accompianment is all he needs now.

BTW, this damn suite has NO tea-making facilities, but room service do one, with "finger sandwiches", for £21......

as you get older, go through a few life experiences..sometimes bad...you learn about the spirit of conciliation and compromise and accept that life is too short to get excercised by little things. Inner calm is more important than causing and contributing to conflict

for a young 'un, it is easier to think "why should I compromise, I don't give a damn", and then twenty years later sometimes wish the opposite had happened.

that will be £150 please.
