Hmm no poker sites won't let you have 2 accounts officially. Yet as a sideline for the last 5 years i have been what is called an arbritrage sports bettor ( basically playing odds off against one another for a guarneteed profit) , now bookies hate my type as basically im a guarenteed winner and taking advantage of their poor odds setting. Anyway they use to reduce my limits on betting and it was an adventageous to me to try and set up another account to increase my limits. The basic trick was using a family/ friends house as a mailing address and then setting up an account with a switch card under that address. I had multiple accounts with about 15 bookmakers, in theory this could be done with poker bonuses i suppose tho i haven't done that yet!!!

Hmm afterthought why didn't i think of this before. Must go got something to do Tongue

With regards to rebuys (Ive never had the option before) I guess if you run out of chips in the first hour (or so?) then yuo can buy more-  is it generally what people do or do they call it  a day a this point?  Also do you get the starting number of chips again or a  bit  less?

personally I'll be playing it as a freezeout. starting at 10pm BST with 8 x 20 minute rebuy level, there'll be plenty of time to sit bck and let my wealthier fellow Blondites top the pot up.

We'll still be playing at 4am

guys  i've never played in a rebut tournament before and i guess the name rebuy kinda explains itself  but is there a point where the rebuys stop? or can you rebuy forever if you have enough money.

(setting myself up as a rookie)  <grin>

I've only ever played in sit and go tournaments and a few freezouts so a bit of info on rebuys would be brilliant

this tourny has a 2 hour cut off which means you can rebuy for first 2 hours

also there is a limit to 3 rebuys

I think the vast majority are going to treat the comp as a freezeout though

In fact, I believe the Rebuy Period is 2 hours, 40 minutes. Why, you ask?

Originally it was 2 hours, with a 15 minute clock, so 8 levels. We asked Tony G to give us a better clock, & he got it increased to 20 minutes, but the number of rebuiy levels were not decreased.

So it's rather a long rebuy period, but there are a MAXIMUM of 3 rebuys, so it oughta settle down after an hour or so.

I hope you all enjoy the comp, anyway.

Regardless of any gripes about titan, this tournament is great value.  Its just a shame you have to lose all your chips to rebuy on titan.  Given the option i'd double my starting stack straight away.

Good structure though, could be a late night!
