I had that problem when going through the Blonde banner ad a few months ago. I had to go thro the Pacific site directly. Emailed blonde to let them know but got no answer so dunno if this is still the problem.

Think it's a standalone network so shouldn't be any conflicts with alternative skins. Pretty horrific software so it doesn't surprise me folk are seeing issues, but it's worth it for the fishing... Grin

A quick by-the-by about Pacific Poker.
They mailed me a few months back and said they had reviewed my account and as a significant winner (GIQ I know..) had decided to stop me converting points into cashback!  The argument was that the cashback feature is designed to keep losing players in the game, not to be abused by successful players!

I pointed out that the puny cashback was just a fraction of the rake I am helping generate, but they choose to see it that I am making money out of them and I should be grateful to them, not cashing in points to boot!!  I also pointed out that reload bonuses are the best way to help losing players stay in the game and reward points absolutely should be used to help retain the business of winnning players.  As it is, they have a business model which deserves to send them to the wall as better sites get it right and leave them behind.

Their email might as well have read "Dear Simon, we don't want you to have 0.000005% of your rake back, so we are confiscating it and using it to fund losing players, as we can't be bothered to fund them oursleves.  Thanks for the money - please continue to play a lot at our site!"

Unfortunately Pacific usually manage to host such wonderful games that I just have to play there from time to time - but nowhere near as much if they got their act together.

Anyone else get a mail like that?

I've known a few 2+2ers report the same thing happening, which is why Pacific remains un-downloaded for me (well that and the week long wait for cashouts).

I've been offered a free roll by new blondite Smithy69 if I went through his link. I have no intention of playing on pacific but if it gets me in a free roll and he get's paid for my sign up thats fine.

I downloaded this when i first started playing poker and they gave me 10 dollars without depositing. I have never had to deposit and withdrawn quite a bit. To say the games are soft is being kind. I often play the sit n gos on their for a change up from the cash game grind and some of the play/ tactics are amusing to say the least. The structure is quite nice 15 hands a level especially when you are often playing 5 handed (from 10) after 2 levels. My in the money ratio must be over 50% and i am by no means a sit n go expert. Well worth playing from a profit point of view but the software and customer services are not great.

Adam,

"you were offered a freeroll if you went through his link".

How many others were offered this facility via blonde PM?

blonde has it's own link to Pacific.
