thinking about it a bit more you could have a weekly "home game at tikays" give the sky poker viewers a chance to see the man behind the Burgundy jacket. you could run "meet tikay's cat" sats and have specials like inviting a few people who have had their chat banned for example, give them a few beers, a friendly cash game and tikay could give them some advice on poker etiquette

On facebook Tony "tikay" Kendall lets us know that
The best Masters golf for many a year. Lee, Ian, Tiger or Freddy would all be worthy winners. Good luck all 4.

He knew they're called tweets?

I think the actual expression he used was 'tweetie things'

Good evening.
Before Posting, I really ought to go catch up on the Mods Board- those poor sods doing a thankless job have taken a right battering whilst I've been away. But I don't have time tonight.
And there are scores of unanswered PM's awaiting me, groan.
For now, though....
The fact is, I've got a job. A proper job.
I was angling for it, worked my nuts off to get it - I may have mentioned in the Diary that my Contract was up for negotiation, & I was keen to get another - & better - deal, in return for enhanced remuneration. Well, they called my bluff, good & proper. Gave me every penny I was hoping for, & THE perfect job, the one I so wanted. I cannot express how proud, & pleased, I was, to get the job.
The snag - there's always a snag - was that there were areas of the new job which were outside my skillset. Well outside it. So I either declined the job, or set out to try & conquer those areas of ignorance & weakness, which were mainly web-based stuff.
So, for the last three weeks, I've been grappling with all this new (to me) technology. And, to be truthful, it's been a bit of an uphill ask, & it's really stretched me.
I now live in a hotel in London pretty much. I arrive in the office at somewhere between 6am & 9am, update a very extensive "to do" List, (rinse-repeat thrice daily, with highlighters etc), & finish the "day job" at around 6.45pm. Then I do my PTP (Online "work") which involves playing on SP from 7pm until Midnight. In bed by 1am, up again between 5am & 7am.
The to-do" List - I might just take a photo of 1 page of it - includes every day "update my blonde Diary, peruse blonde". I've yet to finish 80% of any days "to-do" List, & the blonde bit always get missed.
The exceptions are "Show" days, & I've done more of them than ever recently. I did 9 Live Shows & 12 pre-recorded Shows in March, it's even more than that n April, plus I was "stooge" for 9 Screen-Tests last week, & recorded 5 sets of 4xHand Reviews.
I spent a day or two up in Harogate, too, & went round the Sky Studios in Osterley, agog at what I saw, only to be then double agog-ed by the revelation that it's all redundant, as HD needs new Studios, new technology, new equipment, all of which has been built, brand shiny new.
I'm doing a lot of writing, too. Stories, left-field stuff a lot of it. I'm proud of these stories, really pleased with them. They have not been uploaded or published yet, I'm undecided whether to, & how to, use them to best effect. They would help - a lot - in my new job, but I'm keen not to waste them. A book has been suggested, but that's a step too far. I'm not sure yet what to do with them, but I adore writing.
So ignore all the daft theories, all the stuff from kids reading too many comics, that's it - I've just been busy, trying to beat something which, probably, is a bit beyond my reach, but I'm a stubbord sod, & I want to make it work.
Oh - I loved the "figurehead" debate. No, I really did.
