I got my proposal from 2+2, to allow me to puff (for next door) as much as I want on 2+2.
They sent me traffic stats (awesome!), page impressions, this that & the other, all very slick, all very commercial. 2+2 must make a fortune, & well done them for finding a way to monetize the business. (I'm gonna send their proposal to Tighty fio, it'll make his eyes water).
Recognizing that SP are not US facing, they reperatedly majored on their ability to, wait for it......
geotarget

my mum loves only connect but as she can't get any of the answers (except for the strangely dumbed down missing letters round) she records it and pauses after each question to google
everleaf was mentioned during the network conversation. is that the answer?

Have you ever listened to this Tikay? Excruciatingly uncomfortable for the journo. Derby had been struggling back in Jan and he made the mistake of questioning Sav and his team!

Oh my, Robbie WAS the interviewer!
Good stuff though.

Nope. Completely different look to the software.
Software is 3 D, kinda like PKR.

Honestly, I'm not entirely sure.
All I am sure about is that I have only seen players from a few countries on it. UK, Ireland, Hungary and Italy.

didn't look 3D when i played it, but maybe wasn't utilising the options properly. it's deffo part of a network. The freeroll I played was their official opening tournament, but there were other active games available in the lobby. Their T&Cs (which i've just looked at as part of my investigation) also mention a network (but not which one).

There, it seems, is the answer. Or as the splurge says.....
Proactive Gaming has teamed up with Cybertech aiming to create
one of the world’s largest poker networks
, The Atlantis Network.

Well done to Kev O'Leary on getting a deal with "Three Kings Poker".
I confess, I'd never heard of them, so he's in positive territory already, in raising awareness.
I asked around in Luton last night, & in Southend on Saturday, as to what Network they were on, but nobody seemed to know.
Anyone know, please?
One player said they had played a Freeroll there, but it was sparsely attended.
I wish Kev the very best with it, really, but any new Online Poker Room starting up these days needs to be pretty special even to get off the ground. The market is really tightening up, hard, & the Networks are hurting far & away the most. But if they have a niche angle - the smaller buy-in players, for example - they might succeed.
Good luck Kev & them, anyway.
I played a tourney in Riga last month and there were lots of players there representing that site. The tournament was filled with players from the ongame network, so I assumed they were an ongame skin however Im not sure.
Also, at least some, if not all of their players were actually sponsored pros and had not qualified through the site, most of their players were Norwegian. I was on their site as I was looking up one of their players I had played with all day and they put up a lot of stuff on their site for their sponsored pro's, blogs, twitter feeds, tourney updates etc etc

Robbie Savage is a revelation, is he not, as a pundit/host?
Different gravy, fresh air from the tonne of fence sitters.
Tonne? Tons have gone, have they? Sigh.
But yes, deffo different.
tons are for old people.
I know what a ton is though, & how it is constituted.
20 bags of cement.
Each bag is a cwt.
Each cwt contains 8st.
Each st contains 14lbs.
Each lb contains 16ozs.
It was so simple pre tennage. (That's tennage, not tonnage).
I was taught all that 50 odd ears ago, & it's still indelibly there. Who needs mnenomics?
I could not begin to guess what a tonne contains. 1,000 somethings, I guess. Is there a phrase for a tenth of a tonne? Or a 20th of a tonne?
As a former dealer ferrous and non-ferrous metals, understanding weight, and the way it was expressed, was very important to me, as was the ability to accurately estimate the weight of anything, be it two stone of aluminium or four tones of light iron, or 750kg of reinforcing bar.
When they changed to metric, we soon realised that an old ton, (or, in the parlance of the day, a "Long" ton) was actually heavier than the metric "Tonne" which replaced it.
A long ton equalled 2240lbs, a metric tonne was only 2205.
Now comes the good part.
During the changeover period, some scrapyards scales weighed in tons, some in tonnes, so if you were to buy an expensive commodity, such as copper or brass from a "long ton" yard, you could sell it on to a "metric" yard and gain 70lbs on a two tone load.
It was great while it lasted.

I guess, I did think it was odd that an unknown (to me) site had sponsored pros and actually sent them to these tourneys, but the 2 or 3 that I saw were Norwegian and I just thought it was a Norwegian site trying to cut some of their guys a good deal, similar to what DTD did when they first started up.

I can no longer access Mick McCool's Blog, it's now "invite only", which may be because he has a sports betting jobbie on the go, & understandably wants Members Only access, or maybe other reasons.
I quite looked forward to his new updates
, sort of half interest, half trepidation.
I regularly got mullered on there, but just as regularly, he said kind things about me, too. His last comment - or the last comment I saw, as to me - was very positive.
Now, I shall never know.
Anyway, I hope Wallace remains in good heart, as ever. His affection for Wallace was quite touching.
+1......anybody know how to get "an invite"?
