With Greeky off on holiday, & his Diary not in action for a week or two, where will blondes get their fill of degeneracy?
Well two threads on the "Betting Tips Discussion Board" have sprung to life in the last few days, & if you enjoy thay sort of thing, both are a terrific read.
This one is a "bump", it was started by Camel 3 years ago, but is well worth a read, amazing stuff, "Interview with a Legend".
http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=51522.0
The next is a Diary which has been going for a while, "Diary of a Pro Punter". It has been ticking along nicely for months, but suddenly, in the last few days, it has taken on a whole new dimension. If yiou are a regular punter, & have been slowly doing your money dowen the years - & most have - you cannot FAIL to improve your returns by reading this. And in between the tutorials & tips, there are some incredible stories of betting scams & coups, it would make up into a book.
Camel, Bobby, & many others have contributed to it, but the Thread owner, "redarmi", is different gravy to most others in the world of punting, & if you read that thread, you are reading the thoughts of a pukka betting genius. He gets it quietly enough, but he gets it.
The Link below picks it up on Page 59, which is 4 or 5 pages behind. Take a read, if you enjoy punting & punting stories, you'll not regret it.

I realy think blonde is becoming a far better place these days, we have some real quality stuff, & Posters, here.

Ever thought the judge got it wrong in a boxing match?
Boxing judges need to be pretty sharp, & here's an insight into how their mind works.

Who says old blokes can't play?
Mr Neil Giblin, aka JAKALLY, who must be the best part of 60, took part in a sort of "Cash 4 Points" Challenge next door this month, where the aim was to achieve 60,000 points.
It IS quite a big ask, the first 3 players achieved it a few days ago, & yesterday Neil hit the 60,000 mark. Another dozen or two are on the final straight, but well done Neil, an incredible affort.
Neil will be making a Guest appearance on Channel 865 to
chirp
tell us about it in February.
For his 60,000 points, and as he is already a "Priority Club Member", he gets a cash payment of around £4,000, I think, which is paid on the 1st of the month. Then he gets his "Full House" Bonus, which is worth, roughly, another £3,000, & includes....
27" Computer Monitor
i-Pad2
3D Television
Bose Headphones
X Box Kinect package.
SLR Camera.
Coffee Machine (wtf?!)
SPT Grand Final (@ DTD) Seat (£330).
And just to rub our noses in it, he made a profit on the Tables whilst doing it, apparently.
He even found time to play a bit of Football with the Team Eureka boys.
Incredible stuff, well done Neil.
wpwp Mr Giblin.

What are we saying with the last two posts?
EDIT, someone posted between me and the two referred to here which now become the penultimate and anti-penultimate posts unless someone else gets in inbetween.
That people 'scrub up' well?
That some days we don't look our best?
Fatima got a lot of bad comment in her athletic past but that was a long time ago. Why is she now the subject of a pretty offensive 'joke' text which no doubt is doing the rounds since someone sent it to me (for instant deletion).
She had a tough upbringing iirc and her achievements were never recognised as they should have been because obviously our darling Tessa Sanderson had a much pretttier smile.
Don't get me started on Vordeman btw

It is just "oh my, look at them now".
I happen to have a soft spot for Fatima, who has had such a bad press for so many years. She was a world record holder, world champ, SPOTY, she got the lot, but the media were always on her case, & of course the online trolls were out in force, the spotty nerds saying, oh so predictably, "I'd not give her one", as they did so cruelly with Rebecca Adlington. (They should be so lucky). Fatima had a pretty tough start in life, too, a very unfortunate upbringing, so it was great to see her succeed, overcoming that sort of handicap is the nuts.
Carol is a different thing altogether. I much admired her in her Countdown days, when she was herself, & she has an amazing mind for numbers, but now she had had all the makeovers & cosmetic stuff done, & to me, has lost that "homely" appeal. To be fair, it's not right to knock anyone who tries to better themselves, which is what Carol has done, so fair play to her. Previously, tea & bikkies with Carol, would have been fascinating, now, not so much. And yeah, I should be so lucky......

If I had to chose it would be Vorderman everytime - nice to know there are men out there that like 'homely' so the average woman has a chance but lets be realistic - you're going to see the boobs and the body first and then get to the mind. She regularly has the Collagen Wave facial treatment btw which is a face tightening treatment which is available at the Mk clinic.....£250 a pop and there is a waiting list....

Two large ones from the top please Carol, and four from anywhere else.

Was talking to Jeff Buff last night strangely enough, we're in the same fantasy basketball league and our teams are against each other this week. Obv my team is battering the yank at his own game.
Interesting point he was making about why he's lost his love for poker, saying he only plays about once a month now as it doesn't do it for him any more.
He said he's a 20 min blind kinda guy and I kinda agree. It's all very lovely that every comp now has deep stacks and lots of starting chips, it was only a couple of yrs ago you'd make a big thing about a comp having 10,000 starting chips, now that's not enough even for a £100 buyins.
I like a good structure as much as the next man but there must be a place for all structures and ranges of comps, where are all the crap shoots these days?!
This. So much this.
I think I've played one tournament less than £500 buyin in the last 3 years for this reason.
I don't want to sit in a casino for 8 hours in a £100 tournament to make the last 4 tables in order to make £40 profit.
The first 6 levels of some side events are completly pointless.
I don't begrudge people the chance to play a cheap deep stack tournament, but just occasionally can we have a £100 - £300 tournament which is wrapped up in 6 hours?
Yeh completely, gonna suggest to Russell at Grosvenor, there's loads of super deepie jobbies but none that would be over in 6 hours....need to widen the range!
Couldn't agree more with this. The recent TCOOPs on Stars were a brilliant idea. Who says poker can't just be fun sometimes?
