Hi Tikay,
I've been away on my holiday for two weeks ....I haven't got time to read that much of your diary sorry!!
Just wondering if Ive missed the story you promised whist in Vegas ?
Love to hear rags to riches story!!
Thanks in advance

Yes. He did tell the story. It's back a few pages.

I did?

Lol, I did not think I had!

PS - it was not "rags to riches", more "got out of a big hole".

I'll need to go read it now, sounds interesting-ish, but I'm buggered if I recall writing it.

You may not have done. I can't be arsed reading your diary either.

Coming soon - "Should we push or pull our lawnmower?"  , a story in 193 parts, with photos.

It goes on for ever, then just when you think it has ended, it starts again.

It's those little questions that make life interesting.

Why, for instance, do girl starlings have pink at the base of their beaks, while boy starlings have blue?

That second link says to get the blades sharpened.  Can that be done yourself or does it have to be taken somewhere?

Yes, absolutely.

After the support yesterday, seems only right that I reciprocate. VBOL, sir

Thank you for the DTD Day Two "best wishes".

Day Two Tournament Report

Home-DTD-home is a 6 hour round trip for me.

I left home at 11am, & was back indoors @ 5.15pm.

Nice drive though.

If you are curious as to what is going on here - & you ought to be, it is something extraordinary - then visit this thread....

http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=58441.0

If you want to skip the first few pages, & get to see what the photo is about, go straight to Page 4, here. Even Rastafish & Tony G get a mention. In a chess thread.

I spotted this beauty on the M1 yesterday.

It looks like a crane, but its not.

It's official name is a Bronto S50XDT Truck Mounted Platform.  We used to call these cherry pickers, but cherry trees must have been a lot smaller back then, as they were nothing compared to this.

What actually drew my eye to it was the livery, & the name. If you wanted a good name for crane & cherry picker hire company, this must be the nuts.
