Over a million views- well deserved.
Ooh, thanks hector.
I suspect I enjoyed writing it more than most enjoyed reading it. Sometimes, it is very relaxing, & liberating, to jot stuff down.
Only took 6 years. Fred has got just shy of 700,000 in 10 months!
Ahem.

Is that similar to popping it down?
NO!

http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2013/jul/18/sports-direct-staff-bonus-profits
"Four years ago all full-time staff who had been with the company since 2008 were promised free shares if profit targets were hit in 2009. When that target was hit they were handed a 25% bonus on their base salary, paid in shares worth £1 each. Those shares soared in value, and when a first 25% tranche of free shares were awarded last year, someone earning £20,000 a year almost doubled their take-home pay with shares worth £17,500.
While impressive, that payout was a mere pittance compared with the huge windfall that follows Thursday's results. The same staff member earning £20,000 will now get 12,000 shares worth a further £75,000.
The lucky 2,000 are now free to sell the shares – and Sports Direct has even provided a free stockbroking service to help them cash in."

Reminds me of another of the Gus Hedges quotes in Drop the Dead Donkey, where he would call someone to his office for a brief meeting:
Helen, can I just pop something in your toaster and see if it comes up brown?
Never beat: Would you just come for a quick scuba in my think tank?

Lovely!
Makes me chuckle when I see Newcastle United supporters describe Mike Ashley as an "idiot" & a "clown". The supporters know better than him, obv.
What a weird world we live in!

Whatever happened to Natalie?
Jeez, I loved this video.
Beth Brennan and Lauren Carpenter were my first childhood crushes
Had a look on Wiki to see if she had been doing much, but it appears she's not been active musically since her last album flopped in 2009, and the UK release was cancelled altogether.
She was a judge on X-Factor Australia in 2010, but replaced by Natalie Bassingthwaighte who spent 3 years playing Izzy Hoyland in Neighbours herself, and was the lead singer in this band from 2004-2008
It appears she is doing a bit of acting nowadays, with 2 films due to come out soon and maybe she could even go back to Neighbours
The last update on her website in late May said that she was in New York with the UN, partaking in the first international day to end Obstetric fistula.

Beth Brennan was the character Natalie Imbruglia played in Neighbours
Lauren Carpenter was played by Sarah Vandenbergh
Her character had an affair with Beth's boyfriend/fiancee Brad Willis

In truth, no, I did not.
I'm more a Kerrang! man these days, & she does not cut that mustard.
Any progress on returning to Vegas? Bet you ache to go back.
I went to a Baseball game there, & we all sang songs.
And it's ONE, TWO, THREE strikes & out,
At the old, ball, game.....
La la-la-la.

David Armand did a series of these mimes but this was by far his most celebrated. This was at the Secret Policeman's Ball a few years ago.

Yeah, spent ages on youtube watching his videos after seeing that for the first time!
Lee Evans Bohemian Rhapsody is another good one, there are a couple expletives in the first 60 seconds while he thanks the audience.

Love Lee Evans.
His job interview sketch had me in stitches. Silly nonsense, of course, but so perfectly timed.
On a different thread entirely, Tikay, say you wanted to move a railway station. How to go about it...
