Seated, ready, excited.

Might be a very short Day Two, but will be getting them in quite early, looking for a quick flip if nothing materialises first orbit.

Am seat 7, depends where the button is, too.

I hope you rip him at least three-quarters of a new arsehole today though, Tikay!

The button is in seat 9. Could be a lot worse, happy with that.

All in first hand with A-2-9-7, dd, called by worse, was scooping until the river, but chopped, so we shared the blinds.

8,400.

Raised next hand with A-K-2-5 ccdd, flatted by seat 9.

Flop came 9-7-6, I move in and get called by seat 9 who has flopped two pair with A-9-7-3 and I fail to catch up or catch a low.

BUSTO.

Well I went down fighting, but it was not to be.

Wish I had gambled more earlier, but too late now.

GG.

So that's me done, & I fly home tomorrow.

Variance caught up with me this trip it seems, it's an amazing thing variance.

I gave it my all, never messed around ever, fought for every last chip, never late-regged once, but......well, you know how it is, the scores on the doors dont tell fibs.

Two cashes, early in the trip, for about $2,200 I think means Investors will only get a paltry 20% of their investment back.

Mere has been keeping the records up to date, & will post a summary of who is owed what soonest. As soon as I get home, I'll sort out the returns.

Have loved every minute, just a shame I could not bink a few more cashes. 0 cashes from 4 WSOP Events was a bit disappointing, as I was 3 from 5 before this trip, but that variance thing inevitably caught up with me.

There have been a lot of posts & questions on the Diary which I have not had time to answer, but I'll start doing so shortly.

Think I have put on about 2 stones since I arrived, proper pot-belly now, so harsh diet will have to start Monday.

But I might as well finish the trip properly, so a half pound cheeseburger & a ton of chips awaits, followed by an ice cream & a bottle of pop.

Come Monday, it's beetroot, pineapple & Cup-A-Soup Lite for 2 months. Quite looking forward to it really.
