Haven't played poker in agessince this week but been enjoying a bit of zoom plo on stars this week with a small profit. Seriously tempted to crawl out of the woodwork and use it for a shot at tonight's game. Let me know if you're going and we can have that long overdue coffee and catch up beforehand x

Just catching up, so I'm sorry that this info is no good for you now, but there is an app, even you can use, that tells you what's on at that place you are going to tonight. It tells you start time, chips, clock etc. I've attached a  screenshot so you can see.

Rather than spamming, you can prob guess what it's called, if not let me know and I'll send you the name of it x

Locals were, variously, outraged, bemused & indifferent.

One local dignitary prayed - literally - for it's survival.

A couple who were due to get married on the pier next month (what, why?) burst into mutual floods of tears.

One young lady, seemingly indiffernt to the piers fate, posted a pic on Twitter with the comment....

For which she got abused wholesale by the Pier sympathisers.  

The photo was a right shocker though, who could not be mortified & upset by this quite dreadful photo?

Looks very unlikely it was an insurance job, the part that started the fire has looked likely to fall apart from the 15 years i have been here

As horsey said, the part of the pier that burnt down was falling apart, rotten poorly maintained wood for much of it.

Was on the pier and in the arcades about an hour before. My son won some tickets that you exchange for prizes. Did consider keeping em until he had enough to trade for something half decent but instead he spend em there and then. See, not all bad!!!

Managed to reach the freezeout stage with 11,000.

This level is 5 card, next level 6 card, so the 2xup or bust is undoubtedly hovimg into view, most likely smoking a pipe.

Bradley had about 60,000 at the break. Outrageous.

Trundling along steadily, 30 bigs @ 400-800. Workmanlike.

Bradley has about 32 zillion. Front runner, but does he stay?
