It's the crazy part of the tourney, shoves galore, and half the field are now history.

I executed a three bet. It was straight from Chapter 7 of Tikay's Big Book of Bluffs.
Got it through. Phew...
Lost a chunky pot since, mind. Down to 12k.
This is a bluff like never.

Villain in that hand was good, pretty aggro, we had equal stacks, and I was in the Big. Nobody else in the hand.
Nothing wrong with a fold there imo.
I think call is probably better than raise. I asume we are in position, so no reason at all to fold.

500/1k
In the small blind.
Raise in 2nd position to 2500. Two calls. To me. I have
. I decide to shove (speculative?)
Initial raiser reshoves and gets the others to fold. He has
and quarters me. Down to 6k.
Feels a bit marginal to me, though having a nut heart draw helps. The reshove definitely helped you. 12 big blinds is plenty of chips to avoid taking a situation where you are likely to be behind. I'd happily open this if it was folded round.

v
aipf gets me three quarters when a six hits the river.
Two hands later, I get
in v
aipf for billions and get quartered. 18,900
This is fun. Frustrating. But fun.

Lovely. Yes. Wasn't me who raised.
I potted pre with
then got the remaining dregs in on
. An all in above me and a call.
I'm going to need specific cards from here...
Like no low and an offsuit jack...
23k

Bad level, that, dribbled, blinds now 800-1,600 and I have just 22,000.
Not had anything I can really go to war with.
Need to find something soon, or make something happen.

Yeah didn't realise it was a min-raise and a BB defend.
Easy call.

10 bigs now, don't think I've seen an ace or playable spot in 2 levels.
Strange how good and bad hands seem to come in bunches.
Time to fire up creative mode.

12.5k @1k/2k now.
Close your eyes and think of England...
56 of 129 remain.

3rd break over, 1k - 2k now.
Think Tal and I have less than average if we combined our stacks.
Easy game now.

One caller.
Flop......
I move in, he folds.

Every multiway pot takes a good 6 minutes to finish, while the dealer spreads the pot, splits it into two, listens to five people telling her how best to chop it, then finally distributing the chips.

Ha, sure I have finished a hyper in less time. Maybe I need to go through an adjustment phase before next week.
