^^^^

Yup, that just played out all wrong.

Anyway, very next hand we raise and get 1 caller then a repot.

Can't fold, won't fold, we go three way for a 31,000 pot.

I flop great, top two and nut low draw, no change on the turn, (silently mutter "one time") but I get done on the river when the flush arrives and a deuce pops up to counterfeit my low. Literally the worst card in the deck.

BUSTO

What a bummer, that was a 31,000 pot to take me over average, and I had them both on the turn.

Well we went down fighting, especially as we were down to 1,800 4 levels earlier.

Gonna be a long walk up that corridor tonight, but a burger and a choc ice will be some solace.

Night all.

I hate it when that happens. You want to go shit or bust but you just end up wearing slightly soiled keks.

We don't have"one times" Tone. We gave ours to Reece.

Chins up.

Good luck today to the Animal (Robert Price) who goes into Day 2 of the $1,500 WSOP PLO8 in decent shape.

He appears to reside in a place called "Cornwell".

Unlucky yesterday.   Gl at venetian today , hopefully I won't see you as I've bagged up just under average chips (40k).
Full of negative stuff today , hoping the gym and spa will clear all that. Love im still in but is lowest stack I had in over 4 hours .

Whilst there are many many pivotal hands I can't get this one out of my head .

250/500 playing just over 40k. Hand akk4 dbl std .
Open Utg to 1000 and get 6 callers but blinds fold so first to act.

Flop 982 ( 2 my suit)
Lead 7000 ( pot 7750 )
2 callers
Turn 7 ( giving me 2 flush draws )
Pot bet it and next guy all in ( covers me )and button allin also ( little less than me ).
I'm in utter shock when they both turn over the same high straight with no low cards and no flush draws.
Miss near half the deck freeroll river to have gone to just under 120k with average 30k at the time.
Obviously got half so did make chips .

I decided last night to swerve today's $1,000 8 Max PLO8 @ Venetian.

Not sure if I playing well enough or running well enough (probably the former) right now to throw $1,000 at another one so quickly.

I was also terribly tired last night, which is partly a function of my medication.

But I had my best night's sleep last night since the HA & I'm full of zing & zest this morning & feeling much more lively.

So I've moved from "deffo not playing today" to a full scale dither.

Today's Venetian thing starts at 2pm (10pm UK) so it will be, by my standards, a relatively short dither, like a sort of 20 over dither.
