Level 3 complete, 14,750 from 15,000.

The table filled so that eased the pace a little, and we did one little SCOOPIO to get us back to starting.

There are now FIVE Russians on this table. That's been the theme all trip, loads of Russians, and they especially love Hi Low. Animal, was that your experience?

103 entrants, from which there have been 6 bustees already,

Usually is but no this trip I avoided them apart from that older fish you had at nugget other day and the young shy one with a cap that was addicted to big o ( must have sat with you regularly) but kept leaving good tables every time he got his stack over 1000 from 500.

Level 3 over, first of 4 scheduled breaks.

110 of 118 remain.

Blinds now go 150-300, we have 15,900 from 15,000 starting.

Only one hand of note.

3 limpers to my button, and I have the beautiful, near perfect:

  Two Clubs three diamonds

I make it an even 1,000. (100-200).

Three callers.

How about this for a flop?

  three clubs

For those unfamiliar with O8, it is almost never +Ev to play this slow post flop, we can't really trap here. Chops are no good unless they are pork.

Level 4 done and dusted and was mildly successful.

Blinds now 200-400, so the pots are getting big now.

28 players have made the walk of shame already, as 108 of 136 remain. It's a re-entry so Team Gamble are playing ultra fast.

We have edged up, with a snail like velocity, to 18,400.

Reverse gear engaged after two skirmishes went the wrong way. In both cases we were three way and the action got super hot on the turn and I could no longer scoop or take the low. It's hard to fold top set and I might get half of a three way coup, but there were draws galore on the board. At this point, they are folds I think. Later, maybe we risk all.

This table has become much more aggressive, with folks playing for stacks before late reg closes. Think we can lay low until that storm passes unless we find the very top of our range.

Level 5 is complete, blinds now go 250-500.

36 have perished already, leaving 108 from 144.

After those two little misfortunes, we are down to 13,800. We are neither crushing, or on fumes, just an out patient at the mo.

5 limpers and I have this on the button;

  two spades three diamonds

POT.

They all call, groan.

Flop;

It goes pot and call before it gets to me, and we have no option but to yield.

10,800.

Bugger. I suppose we could have limped in there and saved 3,000, but I think I played it right.

A chap of my age has just arrived at the table.

He is wearing a baseball cap back to front.

He might well be exceptionally good at poker, but oh my, he looks unbelievably stupid.

Try to imagine nirvana or bookiebasher with a back to front baseball cap and you have the scene.

Now aces go horribly wrong, again 3 way.

We have

   Two Clubs

The flop looked promising until both villains took off;

 two spades

We just can't continue here, we could be on a two outer already.

Think variance is such a clever thing, and I am paying off my variance overdraft from yesterday.

8,000, which is just 16 Bigs.

In-patient now.

Backward Baseball Cap Geriatric Bloke lasted exactly 3 hands before busting in comical fashion.

Golfers who dress like the late Payne Stewart need to be able to really play well or they risk looking a complete cock. Same in poker.

Watched a documentary last week about Payne Stewart's air crash

Bloke in baseball cap reminds me of you last year in a scarf and stubble

Aye by gum you did look the part
