Watched a documentary last week about Payne Stewart's air crash

Bloke in baseball cap reminds me of you last year in a scarf and stubble

Aye by gum you did look the part

Uncalled for, I looked like a dude.

Level 6 ended, break, and Late Reg has closed, so it will calm down now.

Just 100 of 164 remain.

Minor recovery to 12,000 which is 20 Bigs.

Easy sized stack to play, anything between 10 and 20 Bigs, but we will need to risk our tourney life and take a flip or two.

Worth bearing in mind we need a very minimum of 60,000 if we are to come back tomorrow with half a chance.

Gamble Dial dusted off and primed.

Messed up aces again, though they were not great ones.

Was hoping one of the shortie gamblers might take off and we could get it in. FAIL. Two limpers.

It comes;

  two spades

Checked to me. I have the  so I bet out.

One caller, Russia.

I can't really bet again here,Mir don't have the bottle and we check it down.

He had flopped 2-2-2 hence the call, and we chop. If I could have found a bet on the turn he has to fold.

Button raised with;

  three clubs

Shortie playing 4,000 moves all in, call. He has the aces.

It runs out dry with paired fours and he scoops.

8,000, which is 13 Bigs.

It's fine, I know what to do, if I catch a break we are back in it, if not, early night.

And the very next hand I go BUSTO.

I blame Marky, 100%.

We got it in good 3 way for a 25,000 pot, and were scooping on the turn, then the anti-gin rivered and Russia 1 rivered the flush and Iowa got the low when my deuce was counterfeited.

Literally, worst card in the deck for me, as the cliche goes.

Two Diamonds

So that's that for tonight.

Honestly don't think we did much wrong all evening, sometimes them cards just don't run for us.

Bit of a disappointment, but we'll live.

Night all.

There's nothing better than clicking in the thread for a catch up and seeing there have been ten more pages. A lovely sweat and a great result. Well played mate.

True but then again what about when there are only 3 pages.

How good do you have to be at poker to dress like Payne Stewart?

Just sounds like it was one of those games that are hard to get a foothold in, unlucky Mr T.

You must be fairly pleased with your overall play on the trip. I know the 5/6 figure score hasn't come, yet, but the ITM % must be very good and you still made day 2 on some you narrowly missed and you seem to be playing some very solid poker!

Hopefully the games have generally been fun, the updates have certainly been excellent to read as always.

True fact.  I couldn't win a bean until I met Marky.  Mr Nut Nut on the other hand...

Really can't remember many Russians this year, but that might just be a reflection of not lasting long in any of the bigger games.  There are loads on Stars.

Good playing with you for the week.  Team Blonde have crushed the O8 downtown in 2017.  Maybe next year we'll give the strip a miss?  25% rake FTW.
