Next hand, facing a pot bet raise (28,000) I commit with the so beautiful A-A-2-5-7, he sets me in - yes please - & he is in a world of pain with A-3-Q-K-K.

The 3-3-9-J-J board is a shocker and sends me home.

Guess I used up my run good earlier in the day and was due a beat, though that was a real thin one.

19th place, and just $362, but it's a start, and we are off the mark.

so I go and you bust , hmm maybe I shouldve had more coffee

Spoke too soon, desperate now, 16,000 @ 800-1,600.

Had K-K-X-X on a 6-Q-6-6 turn.

Was up against 2 players, one had Q-Q - and he lost to quads, obv, with me a distant third.

I might not be the oldest player at the table.

Looks like Howard Andrew

You are doing great today, good luck Simon.*

It is indeed, and he is 84.

He just managed to lay Q-Q down on that 6-6-6-Q coup.

Think the best plan is to wait for Vietnam to open then raise to isolate with any half decent suited or connected holding, then trust to luck.

Kid raises my Big and I can't possibly call with 2-2-2-3.

Flop 3-3-2.

How is that possible?

Ridic.

Is there anything worse than the guy who sits next to you and tells you every hand he folded that would have connected with the flop?

Mind you, that's a ripsnorter of a good'n...

Spectacular action here.

Fella limps, I pot it with Q-Q-J-10 double suited which is really pretty nice, given my situation.

Limpers had the Aces, (A-A-4-5) and for rubs had both my suits beat.

I grab my stuff and get up then promptly sit back down after the Q-2-3 flop before realising he is perfectly wrapped.  Turn was the 5 and the river bought the 4 just for extra rubs.

Bad day at the office.

Night all.
