Monster action.

I limp UTG with the dream.....

  Two Clubs

Three limpers then Mr Oddbod makes it 2,350.

I make it 7,500.

He dwells for ages then calls.

Flop not ideal.....

Let's do it.

All in.

He dwells for several minutes. That's good, I think.

Eventually he calls.

He has a rather odd hand but has hit the board with a huge draw.....

That's bad, I think.

He pings the Q on the turn for the high, but a beautiful 4 arrives on the river.

Chop chop. So close to a 2XUP, and so close to busto.

Exciting though.

Very next hand, holding  two hearts we see the unbelievable flop of....

Not only is that a straight flush to the 6 but it's a steel wheel too. Unbelievable. I feel all LeBron-ish.

Obviously, I can't get on, the flop was way too good to get any action.

Loving life, what can possibly go wrong?

Madness Cheesy

It sure was an odd hand, could never have put him on that in a month of Sunday's.

And just as I post my BB next hand, Floor arrives and moves me to a new table.

Bugger.

It gets worse though.

The lady to my left has a pink monkey round her neck.

A pink monkey.

Round her neck.

24,000 after level 4, blinds now go 200-400.

Can't get that big hand out of my mind.

What a lovely spot that was. The line between busto and 50,000 was so close. Guess I should be pleased I'm still in, but if he missed and I end with 50,000 I would have donned my LeBron Cavs shirt.

Level 5 ends, another very flat level for me, zero action and dribbled down to 21,000.

Choc ice needed, imo.

At the end of level 6 there is a 45 minute break, which is a bit of a pain really, as there is nothing to do or see here, and nothing of note to eat.

It's a tidy walk back to Venetian proper, but it's Hobson's choice.

I usually bring a book with me for dinner breaks, but forgot. Might end up listening to flop stories for 45 minutes, God help me.

Am reading a great book about Silk Road, the dark web website that traded drugs, guns, body organs and all sorts. Fascinating subject.

Singular?

Huh?

You think LeBron restricts himself to ONE Haagen Dazs?

I don't think so.
