Just looking at Frank Worthington's daughter's Facebook reminded me of this article.

I am terrible with song lyrics, and frequently coming across songs that I happily sang along to when I was younger, but never realised what they were about.  This one I thought I knew what it was about, but obviously didn't get every reference.  Who knew sheela na gig's were a real thing, and more weirdly were put on the side of churches? 

Love this song still.

Edna is all good. You're right about that judging by some of the scrabble words she comes up with. Megilps, Geddit, Yuan, Airt, Nitrox, Lotte, Clarts, Fogou, Rewin, Eejit in current games. She got the scrabble skills to match a 14yo Malaysian kid.

Pretty standard scrab words imo. Specialist subject when i go on will be Punk Rock on TOTP 1977-1980. Cant miss izzit.

The news has been full of depressing stuff - COVID, Vaccines, riots in Bristol & so on, but the story of a giant container ship that ran aground in the Suez Canal & has blocked the canal is much more interesting. 

Hopefully they will get it re-floated in a few days, but the story has huge potential - if the Suez Canal were to remain impassable, the knock-on effects for world trade would be monsta. (There is a sort of bypass canal, but it has very limited capacity).

Bloody love these sort of news stories.

It's a boy.

Fabulous news, Zara Tindall gave birth to a boy on Sunday.

Zara's Mum has always been one of my favourite Royals, & Zara my favourite non-Royal Royal.

In must un-Royal fashion, the baby was born on their bathroom floor.

That makes Her Maj a great grandmother for the 10th time I gather. Good breeders them Royals.

I tend to use it for finding where the sailing channels are now.  Flight radar I can live without, but still pop in PRUNE every so often.

Another similar one I have recently discovered is https://twitter.com/QuakesToday?.  My brother has had to evacuate his house a couple of times in New Zealand recently, but you can see all sorts of stuff that doesn't get a mention on the news.  Who knew the World was so shaky?

And you can do this for the next 6 months .  Be careful don't leave it on in the background, as the wind noise just keeps going.
