The short answer is that, in many ways, it was one of the best years of my life as I got all sorts of self-inflicted problems sorted out, & it felt great. Beating adversity, even when it's self-inflicted, is the best feeling ever.

You not coming to Brighton next month?

Up in the air, as I'm in London 2 weekends in March for UFC & AJ, and then have the week off for Cheltenham, too.

Will be doing some juggling to try and get there, but it's going to be a last minute job if I can.

Excellent news. Jen will likely be there - she lives locally & generally comes along - Tal usually comes to the Brighton leg too even though he had to queue for hours on one occasion (sorry Simon).

Marky was going to come but he's bottled it, but Adzy will almost certainly be there.

Spoke to Adz at the weekend for the first time in ages, and he gave me some grief when I told him about 2 weekends at the o2 in March now.

Said that I'd try to get down, but would see him in Vegas if I didn't as he's going there now for a week.

Have you got your dates sorted yet, or helping Sky work out their plans for the summer currently?

Flies the same day as me, but with BA.

Even without the railway connection, that's some beautiful setting, would love to live somewhere like that. I'm a little young to retire yet though. Quite insulted by the suggestion really.
