...Mallory Park (with that never-ending right-hander round the lake & death-defying left-hander just before the finishing line)...
Gerards and the aptly-named Devil's Elbow.
Ahh yes, the left-hander by the s-f line was called Devil's Elbow - no run off area, no grass, no nothing - just unforgiving Armco......
Surely it's been modified now?

Has Andrew T taken a job with "The Times"?
An article in the Thunderer was reporting the betting scam on tennis matches which has just surfaced, (again) pre-Wimbledon, it seems players are throwing matches.
The Headline?
"Tennis Racket Smashed".

lol - someone in a back room at every national newspaper has been waiting for an event like this for years just to use that one! What did the Sun go with? EDIT: just checked their website - they went for the less imaginative 'Wimbledon's Tennis Racquet'

No idea - something really tacky I would think - "Game, Bet & Snatch" maybe.

He's been a stranger for far too long, but now living in Muswell Hill, he's become a regular at G-Luton, & a very welcome regular at that. The bunch of guys playing there these days are as good fun as it gets. Long may it last.
I give you........At-It-Bradley. (Who Finalled tonight).

Saw Dave Colton at Luton tonight, fresh from his Vegas Adventure.
"You are going to Vegas this week tikay, yeah?"
"Yup"
"Wanna buy some dollars?"
"Great idea, save me changing it up out there or buying them off Thewy, how much you got" I say, pulling out a bunch of £50 notes in anticipation.
"$11"
"Nice one Dave".

Very up & down day today. I've been a bit under the weather with this & that, tiredness really, but I've spent 2 days turning my house inside out trying to find my Car Log-Book. I need to give it to Regards, he needs it to validate my new Car Key, & my Road-Tax expires on Monday, so I need it for that, too. What a bummer, losing that.
Spoke to Flushy on the 'phone, he seemed a bit quiet, but I think he's lined up for bB7, which I'm chuffed about. He was huge fun at bB6.
Rung Thewy, we hope to hook up for some dinner next Tuesday with
Jim
McShane
&
Phil
Quayle
in Vegas. Old guard, that crew. Delighted with his news, too. Dread to think what his next sprog will be named, though. He has Reuben, Barny, & Dylan, so far. Hard to know which one is the cat.
Chatted with Chili, bright & sparkly as ever, she was in great form. Not sure I'll see her before I go away, but I hope to play more Live Poker with her when I get back, she is marvellous company.
Compo was at Luton tonight, they adore him there, & quite right too. I'm doing the Sky Show with him on Saturday, our first Sky Show together, & his Presenting Debut on
Sky
Poker
I believe. Seriouly contemplating a short 7 to 10 day trip to Vegas later in the year with him & a few close friends, it'd be a hoot, & maybe my last ever trip to Vegas.
Regards rung me tonight & it looks like he's solved my Car Log-Book problem for me, he's sending me the "how to get a replacement Log-Book quick" recipe tomorrow, which has cheered me up no end.
I have two Meets in Feltham tomorrow, (first at 11am, sheesh), a final Vegas Planning Meet, & an Operational Review of how Brighton went, & then I do the Five-O in the evening with Richard Orford, preceded by a Live "Unlimited" Show. I've got a London Hotel tonight so I can get to Feltham in time in the morning.
I'll go home after tomorrow's Show, & I'm still debating whether to chance playing the Luton £250 on Friday. It's a 2 dayer, & I'm working Saturday, but it may conclude on Friday night if there are not many runners. Nina told me tonight that, come what may, she won't be changing the Structure, fair play to her. Either way, I am in Feltham Saturday to do the Show, stay over, followed by a trip to Gatters on Sunday morning & the 10.45am
Virgi
n
Atlantic Jobbie direct to Tacky Town.
When I get back home, July 16th, I plan to take a bit of a break, I need to sort out a few things, as life is whizzing past way too fast.

Thanks for the photo tikay... I think!
Finished 5th, played really well until final then very poor on there i think. Big chip leader to my left didn't help so i had to be restrained as he liked to play every hand. Ended up allin with J10 and chip leader found KK. Didn't need to move in really but i'm a bit rubbish.
Enjoying playing at Luton it has a good range of competitions and your there, so regular value!

Unlucky fella, but it's terrific to see you back on the scene, you play the game with a refreshing attitude. You seem to have lost a bit of the lairy-ness, but gained great insight into where you are in pots - am I right?
Always a pleasure to share a table with you bud.

Pretty spot on i think, Lairyness doesn't work as much anymore i don't think. Everyone thinks everyone is bluffing now. I certainly think i read the game better now, sometimes over think it though...
For me poker is a confidence game and my confidence is returning ihopefully.
Always a pleasure to see you Tony, even if you do tell everyone you meet that i'm always bluffing.

Tikay,
If you want to buy some dollars, look no further, I can sort you out. I believe the exchange rate is £1=$1 but I'm happy to do $10 for £9, which is a bargain.
I tried selling them back to Barclays in the week but they weren't happy taking $100 bills in any quantity. Apparently there have been some dodgy ones knocking around.
The girl asked me whether they were the exact same notes they'd sold me a month earlier. Errr, what?
Anyway, it was going to take six weeks before the cash hit my account, as they had to be collected and checked, so I thought, bollocks, I'll keep'em. Going back in October anyway.
Let me know if you want some and I'll bring them tonight.

Wow, that IS a bargain......
Seriously, I'd prob take what you got, but I don't think I'm gonna make Luton tonight, I just got so much to do. But I'm heading south to Feltham for the Show tomorrow, (with one Compo!) & I may try & drop in & see you on Day Two, on my way down, & buy them then.
Now, I just gotta write 200 e-Mails, go to war on another Forum, raise my June Invoices, write a blog, tidy up the house, despatch the cat to his holiday villa, iron my shirts, pack my suitcase, find my car log-book, sort my Press Pass for Vegas, & be at Gatters at 0600 on Sunday. That apart, I'm free all weekend.
I was not sure that "Chompy-IMO" was you on the Five-O last night - good effort man.
You going back in October? What's on? I'm toying with organising a little trip to Vegas with a bunch of close friends, but we have not "developed" the "when" yet.
Gotta go.
