God no, airports are the last place you eat. Overpriced, undercooked tripe.

Clearly, I've missed a trick with this Diary. To get 2 pages of real interaction, just mention Breakfasts, & Brown Sauce. 2 pages of robust exchanges will follow, minimum. Nice.

A healthy surge in Twitter followers today, presumably due to incoming blonde newbies. If so, thank you. Up to 167 now, so I guess I'd better get my Twitter arse in gear & give some interesting tweets.
No requests to follow players in the Main came in, in response to my "offer", so a one-way street so far, which is a result.
Twitter must, like FB, attract all sorts. One of today's new followers was ""The Poker Twat" (thepokerfuckwit)", whose sole Tweet to date is "I'm taking the piss out of poker players hahahahahaaaaaaaaaaa".
I may run a free entry Comp to guess his age & IQ.

Wooly Jumper eventually got us to Vegas, 3 hours late I think, with a horribly stomach-churning aopproach to McCarron through some violent air turbelence.
A 30 minute disembarkation delay ensued, while the State Troopers (police?) escorted off the plane a bunch of drunken idiots who had acted the goat throughout, so 450 of us waited while they sorted those 3 out.
The irony is they could have left alll 3 on board, as they were being refused entry & "turned straight round" & back to the UK on the same 'plane.
The 747-400 was full to the brim. 440 passengers, 9 cabin crew & 3 cockpit crew. Nice business.

Went across to Ceasars tonight, first guy I bumped into was Drain Alien.
A Scot who apparently knew me from Gala Maybury was next, & two most pleasant Gents who I never knew from Adam came & chatted me like old friends, maybe they watch the Shows.
Thewy & Flushy both texted, Thewy is playing the $1k tomorrow (today?), we are gonna hook up. Flushy said he has a "ridic" stack in the $1,500 I think, at The Rio, but I could not find him when I went wandering. I'll wait till I pick up my Press Pass tomorrow then Rail him from inside the ropes. Maybe a great Tweeting Recruitment possibility, may even get another "poker twat" or two.
Shared a Table at Ceasars with Flipper Walsh. He's a thoroughly genuine guy, I think, & we chatted a good bit. Poker revenues at BoylePoker are "challenging", I gather, with i-Poker up to their usual tricks. DTD apart, Boyles were the "best" bidder for the blonde Cardroom after the Aqua debacle, but as Kieran said tonight, really, with our "book", it would never have worked out. BlackBelt is a Boyles skin I think, but I would not imagine the margin for Boyles amounts to much, Mr Channing rarely cuts a bad deal.
He told me the name of a high-profile UK Skin of i-Poker which is offering 70% Rakeback, & happily paying the Fines. But has not been thrown off. Go figure how i-Poker think.
He somehow failed to go Busto in the $150 Ceasars tonight in a really oddly-played hand. The Board came K-8-8-K-T. He had K-8, oppo had K-T!
Whereas I managed to trap 2 players a treat, or so I thought, with pocket tens. One had Aces, the other Kings.
Enjoyed it, though.
The Ceasars cardroom was packed, they had 4 Tourneys on the go, I think, & 17 Cash Tables running, but not a single Omaha cash game running, sadly, so I swerrved the cash.

I'm nearly 6,000 miles from home, & yet EVERYONE was on my case about blatchgate on blonde. Bad news don't 'arf travel well!
All wanted to know the latest (I could truthfuly say "don't know"), several were critical of blonde's role (eh?), all were dismayed at the whole thing, of course, & one guy was very in-my-face about it, "you had it coming to you", seemingly directed at blonde. Strangely, it never bothered me. I'm in Vegas, here to mostly work, with added play, & it never ruffled me a jot or tickle, whereas normally it would. Tough to reply to "how could blonde allow it to happen, & how are blonde going to repay the lads who got shafted?".
Amazing though, how many different Forums it seems to have found it's way across to.
If only blonde/DTD could monetise all those rubbernecker sign-ups, ( & we are trying to), it would at lest help the blonde-DTD numbers. But I doubt many - any? - are commercially useful.

Finished the Chris Evans book on the 'plane. It went a bit flat towards the end.
He tells of the purchase of Virgin Radio, all very odd, he just seemed to buy it on a whim. He stuck up his entire capital, £2 million, got VC's to stick in £65 mill, & tyheen begged Wooly Jumper to retain £23mill worth of stock, so as to reach the £90 million price. He said Wooly Jumper begged him to make sure he coud afford it, & was very caring towards Mr Ginger. He clearly has Wooly down as a decent sort, & was very sychophantic about him, seeing him as almost regal. Quite so.
Either way, Evans is clearly in good shape now, owning about NINE Ferraris!
He's likeable, a bit of a head-case, but a good man I think. Evans, I mean.
"Volume 2" is diue out end of September, & he has a Website promoting it.
It includes an extract of how he came to buy one of those Ferraris in quite bizarre style. (The LOWER" of the two Vids). It's here....

Unless the colour on my Lappie has failed, Ginger Chris is now Grey Chris, too.

Watched the Film about Cloughie at Leeds on the flight, too. Middly interesting, the way Clough was presented being very good, I thought, as was the "dating" of the props & scenes, reflecting 1969-74. Dumbed-down shocking, though. It's hard to get how good he was in proper context, his exploits at two provincial Clubs (Derby & Forest) being quite spectacular when you look at modern football history. Would not bear watching again, but worth the one look.

Just had a text from Flushy. (Midnight local).
"Made Day Two, I assume you are out of the Ceasars one?". Now, to be fair, that's a quality rub.
I will have to swerve meeting hm tonight, I'm oh-so-tired, & need to get a bunch of writing finished, maybe hook up with him in the morning before he plays Day Two.
I DO need to try & catch him in a good mood, though. Tighty sent me on a mission.
