He is marvellous, back at school full time. Still on 6 nights TPN but better than he has ever been. Just need to get him off the TPN really but Leeds said they are not rushing to try him yet.

Stay away from lenscrafters as they'll charge at least double everyone else, but this crowd (Visionworks) are in Vegas and they supposedly do prescription glasses in an hour:
http://www.visionworkseyewear.com/store-locations/results.php?State=NV&Market=39&Zip=&x=36&y=15
Not sure if they can sort prescription sunglasses in the hour, but worth giving them a ring just in case.

Thanks Dawn, I'll give them a try.
Not, presumably, today - July 4th. Jeez, they do make a fuss about July 4.

I know, right?! You'd swear it was some sort of big deal or summat. 234 years ago in all fairness. No need to keep banging on about it.

Thanks Longy.
I am still trying to figure out if that Bellagio Tourney will run today. It looks the best of the bunch, failing which it's the 7pm Caesars affair, as I cannot commit to a 2 dayer.
I'm gagging to play, with nowhere to go!

So, skillfully timing my arrival between 2 phone-ins to the Live Show, I arrived at Bellagio in good time for their advertised 2pm $340 jobbie.
Which they informed me does not run today.
"But it says it does on the Website".
"Ignore that Sir",.
Fairv enough.
Next attempt will be the 4pm shove-fest at Caesars. 30,000 chips (!), & a 20 minute clock.
Proper poker it's not, but if you're hungry enough, I guess you'll eat anything.
I'm out here watching, Railing, writing & talking poker, & today, my day off, I just wanna play!
I blame Jeeves.

Tony there used to be a cracking one-day tourney at Binion's on a Sunday, $10K gtd. 2pm. start IIRC
It may have been shelved during their mini-series but worth checking out.

I checked their Website Ralph - it advertised a $20 jobbie!
All this money floating around in Vegas looking for a home, & the Rooms are not updating their Websites.
Hey-ho.
I was reading up on Steve Wynn this morning - jeez, the guy has some vision, if you'll pardon the untimely pun. Wiki is your friend.

Jesse May asked Tony and me an interesting question at the airport.
"Who is your favourite WSOP main event champion?"
Tony said Greg Raymer, I said Huick Seed.
Anyone else got opinions?

Moneymaker because of the name and everything he brought to online poker. Played with and sat next to him at the PCA and he is a very nice guy as well.......
