I know you are quite the admirer of his but I never realised Donald Trump at one point was in billions of dollars worth of debt, quite the hole to get out of to be where he is now.I only no this as he mentioned it on the US Apprentice which I've just started watching so not sure in what way he was in debt,I'm guessing not credit card bills.

I purchased some theatre tickets (London) online.

how has no one else picked up on this?  Details, please.

Lol, trust you.

It might be prizes, Dear......

It's part of what I do, next door. Give away things. Tourney entries, SPT Seats, Theatre Tickets, various Freebies, even nights of poker mentoring with me. (Hush).

The best part of giving away stuff - & I give away loads - is poor Des's face when I do.

might be prizes?  whattya going to see?

Admirer of Truump?, you jest. I've got him right up - down? - there with Wooly Jumper.

He's not out of the hole, & never will be, the man's a fraud, & his dreadful tacky empire is founded upon layer upon layer of credit, all of it junk grade.

He was in debt because he borrowed too much, & it remains the case now. He's not exactly making friends in St Andrews of late, either. When it comes to schmoozing the locals, he's like Hatchet Harry from Hackney.

I loathe the man.

Stick him in Room 101, with Wooly Jumper & Davina McCall please.

That reminds me, I once saw, maybe it was linked to on here, a rather long article about WJ's financial obfuscation and trickery. I made a mental note to read it later and now can't find the thing.

I'm guessing you or tighty might be able to point me in the right direction...

OK, that's me for today. I've messed around on here for way too long today, but enjoyed it.

Really looking forward to the Show tonight, we have a corking field, & I think the Tourney is sold out.

Tomorrow, I'm taking LML up the M6 Toll. Should be fun, that.

Night all.

Has any invention in the last 200 years changed life as much as the Internet has?

What would the Ten Things that have most changed our life be?

What have I forgotten, & what should not be in that list? Are they all "net positives"?

I'd include Germ Theory (definitely) and more recently, the Pill.

Don't forget "Flower Power", Viet-Nam, CND, and Timothy Leary which all happened in conjunction with Martin Luther-King, Civil Rights, Black Power et al during the 1960's. An exciting and overwhelming sea-change for me even if it was kid's stuff at the time for the (no doubt) reactionary tikay.
