Sorry, but it still makes no sense to me.

"The chances of 2 peeps sharing a Birthday are 100% if 367 peeps are in the room".

Yup, got that.

" 99% probability is reached with just 57 people, and 50% probability with 23 people."

I'll never be able to grasp that.

You can't get it because you're not a birthdays kinda guy.

Do the blonde birthdays for a year and you'll get it in no time.

Yup, there will be a Live Super Sat at Luton, they have been allocated 5 seats. It's up to them when they run the Super-Sat, have a word with George.

Did you not try & qualify Online? Several blondes did, iirc.

A month ago, 15 identically dressed, man-bagged, jumpered, blonde-wigged, facemasked, tikay lookalikes descended on Newcastle SPT, for the most surreal experience of my poker life.

Tonight, completely unrelated to that, will be even more surreal.

I'm off shortly, to a disused warehouse in South West London.

350 of TV & Film's good & great will be there, having a Meal, speech, & Party.

I'll be doing none of those things.

I'll be hiding in a side room until 10pm. Fully made up, & dressed by "wardrobe". And then I'll start work.

Then, there's gonne be some party. I'm absolutely bricking it, the whole evening is going to scare the life out of me. But it's all different, & what fun?

We shall see.

How many scarves and bags do you own?  Just the one of each or have you branched out a bit?

Dozens of scarves, too many to count.  (When I cleared out my now empty house, post-flood, I counted 130 ties!)

Only one man-bag. Can't beat perfection. Anyway, changing bags is such a pain, all that stuff to transfer.

Completely agree with this.  One suggestion however.  At some point that bag will have seen better days and you'll need to replace it.  Better to keep your eyes peeled for said replacement now while you still love the one you have.  Then you won't be forced to rush and get any ol' one just for the sake of it when the current one goes bust.

Although, thinking about it - you don't really have to worry as you have Chili to hook ya up later.

Never mind.  As you were.

this would go nicely with some of your scarf/jumper combos imo

I always leave the room to let MrsB have her "girl talk" about bags and all that.

Will do the same thing for you ladies.

Oddest of evenings last night.

Sky are pushing like mad "Sky Atlantic HD", billboards everywhere, & that's only the tip of the iceberg. It's said to be "The Home of HBO", & the word seems to be that Sky will attract massive viewing figures with it.

So, they had a grand Launch Party last night, must have cost half-a-mill. They had a "pop-up venue" in Nine Elms, between the new Fruit Market, & a Post Office Depot.

It was, literally, a disused warehouse, but a big bugger, the owners hire it out for "Events" & for filming. MBN. I gather it will soon be demolished, as it's the site for the new American Embassy.

Inside this monster warehouse, had been built a 1930's style "set", to exactly replicate "Boardwalk Empire", the series which Sky are pushing so hard as the Sky Atlantic launch vehicle. Boardwalk Empire seems to have very high production values, & this was reflected in the detail at the party. No expense spared.

It is set around the time of prohibition, so that was the theme, & peeps were dressed accordingly.

I'd been approached by the organisers to set up a "spieler", in a private area to the side of the Dinng Area. They wanted Roulette Tables, Poker, & a wheel of fortune.

No cash prizes, (Licensing issues) but 3D/HD TV's & stuff for those who won most.

The angle here for me was to promote Sky Poker & Sky Vegas, so we spent a few bob, as there was a pretty impressive Guest List.

The spieler door was closed all evening, it was a "secret", but it was opened now & then, & copious amounts of dry ice wre pumped out, to arouse the Guests curiosity.

At 10pm, the spieler opened, & off we went, work started. I'd had to spend the whole evening hidden in this side room, ffs.

We used "Poker-Vision" again. If you ever want Tables & Dealers for private poker functions these guys are just amazingly good. They are on-message, polite & patient with newbie players, smartly dressed (though we dressed them last night), & use good quality Tables, cards, chips, dealers, & are always punctual & a joy to work with.

See....

http://www.poker-vision.co.uk/

Once the spieler was revealed, it soon filled, & it went terrific. We had a little bar, too, & in the spieler we had 10 or 15 actors & actresses dressed up in 30's garb, & the men all wore spats, striped suits, slicked back hair, & gangsta fedoras.
