Sure she says he's small..BUT she agrees it's impressive.

This just means that he smashed it and she's a duuuuuuuuuuuuurty slag...and, quite possibly a lezzer...as well.

Anyways, he's a sport presenter, she obviously doesn't know anything about sports and she's probably just some chick they had doing the weather but who then got promoted after sleeping with the shows producer or something.

lol @ a woman presenting the news...it's just wrong.

edit; Sorry guys, Andy Gray just braped me.

Jeez, what a testing week it's been.

Plenty good, plenty bad, not much in between.

I need a little break, I'm quite stressed due to this & that. I adore the job - or most of it - & the money is handy, too, but this week I earned every penny, & more besides, a real grueller.

I went to Luton last night, chipped up early, but then lost a little patience & discipline, & spewed it off in bits & bobs.

Playing plenty, I Raised it up with Q-J, got shoved on by v v tight player, let go, was shown Queens.

I Raised it up with A-Q, got shoved on by same v v tight player, passed, (I had plenty chips) got shown A-A.

I Raised it up with K-Q, got shoved on by same player, it has to be a fold, but sometimes you need to draw the line. Or maybe not. I call, not liking the coup here, I've walked into Kings.

A Raise & c-bet with 9-5 followed, but I got check-raised. 9 high is probably not in good shape to a c-r.

Eventually, I run a bad K into a monsta K.

Not actully sure that I played badly, really, but my timing needs a bit of work.

Probably gonna revert to Aces & Kings only in future. It's the way forward.

Off to DTD today, I think, for the £100, hoping to see Ralphy Boy & Tiny Tom, maybe Luckbox Moult, too.

I'll poodle up the M1 shortly, in heavenly peace. I hope.

The Diet is a disaster, I'm absolutely stuck between 12-10 & 12-12.

I'm still zero-tolerance, 100%, & using the precise method I used last year, on that occasion it just steadily dropped from 16-6 to 11-6 in 5 months.

This time, it fell from 13-13 to 11-12 in a month - & since then - 3 more weeks - it's just stalled. Very odd.

Physically, I feel better though, zero Rennies or Nurafens, a bit of backache, unsurprisingly (I sit a lot, & have poor posture) but that apart, I'm in goodish nick, all things considered.

My eyes are much worse - to be expected, I suppose - & the growthy thing on my chin (Orford called it "your face") niggles, no pain, but I'm acutely self-conscious about it, which is too daft, & probably vain, for words.

Why not grow a beard and dye it blonde Abel Xavier stylee?

I'm in for today's £100, just purchased via DTD's shop.

Paul Jackson was the Show Guest on Thursday.

Back in the day, I was old skool - I always was - but he was the kidz, now we are both old skool.

At the risk of being ridiculed, I don't think I've ever met anyone who mentors (poker) better, coaches better, describes what we should & should not do better.

We are as one as to the mock-ridiculing of "older generation" people like Micky Wernick, too. I suppose it's an age thing, a respect thing. He gets mocked to death, & I just don't understand it, & it was nice to hear Paul reinforce the line. Poker has become such an ego fuelled thing, but we just get dealt hands, or not, by a Dealer. These days, nobody beats the game, either - they all crush it . Oh yes, we crush it, baby.

So, the Show was as good a Show as I can recall ever doing, & Paul went down a storm with the viewers. I've invited him back & to do some other stuff, too. We only showed about 20 hands, the "talk" (from him, not me....) was too good to waste.

Some more names lined up, too. James Keys last week, Tricky Sam a few weeks earlier, Thewy this Thursday (on with me, too, that worked out nice), we are just sorting dates with Flushy, & I want Mr Kimber & Barry Carter on, too, though I can't recall if either have confirmed. In fact, I don't think Jeff Kimber has agreed, yet, but I hope he will.

All good at that end.

We have a Studio-based Live Cash Game lined, up, too, & it's my task to select the players. 6-seater, but we'll need 10 or 12 I guess, as we'll film for 2 straight days. Gonna be an interesting one to sort that line-up, & no doubt a fall-out or two will ensue.

Remember that thing where Paul Jackson used to turn up at a player's house and sit on the sofa advising what to do each hand? What was that on? Ripe for a revival on Sky that one imo, worked well.

No, sort of never quite got round to it, then got conflicting advice, varying from "you are dying, you need to go to the hossie now", to "don't be such a vain tosser". Fair enough, I guess.

That photo you Posted, I need to talk about that. What memories it invoked. Mixed, very mixed. I can't quite make up my mind whether to openly discuss it though. 4 friends gathered that night, & it's quite interesting to think back on what happened after that. P (tantrum) still keeps in touch, now & then, usually about Polish stuff.

I met Tantrum for coffee one day, about 4 years ago, I think, during the WSOP-E.

I was with Compo, & we were booked to do an interview with Doyle Brunson in his suite at The Hampshire, right opposite the Empire Leicester Square. His Suite rate was £600 per night, I'd complain if they charged £60 for it, but that's bye the bye.

We do the interview, & somehow, we get friendly with Mrs Brunson, who is THE most endearingly lovely lady.

So, Compo & me meet Mrs Brunson the next day for coffee, & we chat & stuff, then Tantrum rings, "you at the Empire, I'm local, fancy coffee?. Yup yup.

Compo has never met her before, he wants to carry on nattering with Mrs B, but somehow I think the chemistry will be wrong, so I say, "no, we gotta go", & we do, & Tantrum arrives 10 mins later & we take a window seat, order coffee, da de da.

And Compo could not stop staring at Tantrum! It was embarrassing, but nice embarrassing. She is a very beautiful kid, very "understated", most lads would die for her, but she was smart, too, & nobody's fool.

Anyway, I don't quite know where I'm going with this, but the Claire & me photo invoked it all. It was taken on an evening (just a meal & a drink) on the South Bank, the grotty end, Bankside I think. Present, were Claire, me, Tantrum, & bolty.

That, sort of, led to the Compo-Tantrum-me coffee meet.

Of those 4 people - Clawbird, Tantrum, Bolty, & Compo - Claw is the only survivor in my "circle". The other three, well, there aren't half some stories there. Not many happy endings though.

I guess I better head North, before I say stuff I will regret.

I really like that photo, thanks Claire. Claire is a "right distance" pal - not too near, not too far, & I mean as a friend, not geography. We have actually somehow managed to work though some very awkward third party situations, 2 to my certain knowledge, & have remained good pals. Respect to that.

Now you mention it, yes - but I'm not sure it was Sky, was it?

It was great TV, for a very specific poker market, the smaller players, the newbies, the "fun" players. Which is about 99% of the market.

Wow, you've given me an idea. That'll fill my 3 hour trek north, & by the time I get home, I'll have a proposal worded up in my mind ready to send up to the suits desk. Copyright CH1OMPY.

An even tenner it goes to air, CH1OMPS? We might make you the first subject, too. Just basics, see?

That's really made me think, good man. I think I may love you.

Dye it? DYE it? I'm not a vain tart, you know. The very thought.

I dtropped a note to Tom, too, to see what he's up to. He's been very quiet the last few days, & I've been so rushed & stressed I have not rung him. I hope he's OK.

EDIT - Tom just replied, all is well, he's been busy, hobnobbing with the toffs in Birmingham for a few days, he's coming up to DTD later. Excellent!

Possibly - I'm trying to bring it to mind.

I blame CH1OMPY, I hate him.

I really must catch up with Tantrum soon.

First time I met her was when we'd arranged to room share at Blonde Bash 4 in Luton.  Prior to that, we'd only exchanged a few messages on blonde and didn't really know anything about eachother.  I got to the hotel first, and from the second I opened the door to our room when she turned up we hit it off like a house on fire and I don't think we stopped laughing over the course of the next few days. After the bash we'd hook up for drinks every week or two in London and put the world to rights.  We kind of lost touch a year or two ago when we were both going through a bit of life stuff, and exchange 'must meet up soon' messages now and again but it's never happened.  I'm gonna make it happen.

If Tantrum was a bloke she'd deffo be Mr Claw number 3 by now imo.
