Not really bullying. Pretty sure he wouldn't want them both out.
3 way all in with 40%+ equity would be quite nice.
Yes, but surely happy to tid there & then, with a good few bob in the middle already? ("bullying" was the wrong word). And if he gets looked up, fine, as you suggest.
Me, I'd be happy to take the hand there & then!
Depends what's in the pot pre compared to how much they all have back.
When they both fold he wins 'a' amount 100% of the time.
If they get it in 3 ways he wins 'b' amount 42% of the time.
If 'a' = £200 and 'b' = £6k then assuming he's only in for 1/3 of it he'll want the latter.
His net profit is £520. (6000 * 0.42 = 2520 which is his return)
Personally I'd always want to tid there and then the same as you. A long term player should really want whichever maximises his long term return on the hand.
Fine piece of logical analysis,. Matt, wanna job?
But I was pleased to see you would take my line, too, & tid early.
Anyway, the hand will be re-shown on tonight's Show, just after the first break, so at about 9.30, 9.35, or thereabouts. Bet I got the details round my neck.....
Be interesting to see what various players think of the play.

D-Day today, when "D" = diet.
I got down to just under 12st 7lbs earlier this year, & really struggled to go further south, but I was happy with that, since then it's drifted north again.
I feel a bit bloated now, with a beer belly (in my case, a pork-pie belly, God, I love pork pies), & I need to get fit for Vegas, the 2 weeks working out there is easily the most exhausting fortnight I have annually, & I can't do the job well unless I am in good fettle.
I decided to drop a stone before Vegas, & I go on June 20th, so exactly 5 weeks hence.
Today's weigh-in really surprised me, it's nothing like as bad as I feared - 13st 2lbs.
So, I think I'll aim for a more modest reduction, to 12st 7lbs, meaning I have 5 weeks to shed 9lbs.
Sigh @ no more pork pies, but June 20th is not far away, & I'll celebrate it in style.

Thought last night's show was magnificent in an unscripted sort of way.
What was the player's inappropriate name that made you corpse please?

Thanks Rich, not sure about "magnificent", but Rich Orford & I were both pleased that we'd given it our all on both the Saturday & Sunday shows, & a whole shoal of nice e-Mails & PM's suggests we sort of hit the spot. I think, in my case, having a day or two's break on Thursday/Friday really helped, I was bursting with energy all weekend. To be fair, the credit for both Shows being so well-received is down to Orford, who is unbelievably good, & knows just how to "work me".
I enjoyed watching your interview from Leeds, but I suspect your forearms were distorted by being too close to the camera, they looked really big, much bigger than they are in "real life". Deffo had the popeye look!
For almost the first time last night, I watched myself in a recorded interview last night, too, the one with Richard Flint, the SB&G MD. I was rather relieved that the questions seemed to pitched just so, though I can't believe how old I look.
The inappropriate name? I would have been OK, I never even noticed it, but the moment I read out his name, Orford started giggling, & that set me off - it was his reactiion, rather than the name itself.
The alias was something like rimjunkee, it was not a Tourney Table, it was a ring game.

on and on the AA v KK v Q8 hand
I cannot believe Lewis folds AA to a pot sized flop 3 bet.
I can understand KK folding as he's played it cute and presumably if doing so you have to be prepared to fold if it gets heavy
Must have been serious meta-game and image created by Eames to get them both to fold

You need to fit a PC with a video capture card, which are available for around £25.
I used the same method to convert old VHS to DVD's
If your using a laptop there are usb devices to do the same job,but a bit more expensive.
