Just wanted to say how 'awesome'-omg i'm really becoming a yank-tikay has been out here already. Listening to all my bad beats, talking through hands with on breaks, and generally been a jolly good fella. I'm still not prepared to hear any train stories though, i've heard that's a given!

luckily I got to your response before the rubs. [ ] Mrs Greeky exists.
Online translators FTL - I'm guessing you typed in something like bottom and you got the translation for 'below/bottom' which isn't used at all for bum in greek.

Mr Greeky then?
Either way, you still shouldn't be playing with Mrs Shulman
BTW the actual translation thrown up was κάτω μέρος but I prefered to totally disregard the last bit, just because I could!! I knew that the meaning would get lost in translation but as a multi-linguist you would know where I was going with it..
6/10 for effort though I recon

Quite so. Allyn & Barry are an extremely well-suited couple.

Behave......
I enjoy listening to you & your steamed rantings, actually. If you ever told me a single bad beat story, I think I'd scream, that's almost my job to listen to players who don't understand the game, or themselves, blame the world & it's wife, or the Sky Poker/Laddies/Stars river for their demise. But you look at yourself, your own game, your own errors or mistakes, & almost poke fun at yourself, rather than others. That, I like & admire, it's such a refreshing change.
You, & the other "hottie" kids, play a game which I can't, & I can't go the pace these days, but I genuinely learn "new poker" from listening to guys like you, & even young boys like Lil Dave.
I was inspired by some of what I learned from you yesterday, & really upped my game in the Noon $340, I even did one of those 3 bet with air jobbies. Nearly crapped myself, must be said, & when the guy sigh folded - J-J face up, bless! - I deffo enjoyed momentary seepage.
I need to quit with the sychophancy, but I have incred respect for your game, & you've given me a wonderful sweat in the Venetian Deepie Series, thank you. Enjoy your day off today, & go crush that $1,000 jobbie on Sunday. There is a $550 on Friday, too.

370 runners in yesterday's Noon Deepie & I came up just shy of the money in about 48th I think.
Had plenty chips all day, never in danger, but lost the vital hand late on & off I toddled.
Kid on my Table - lovely kid - was the guy Dom beat Heads Up in the Deepie that Dom won, & I really warmed to him. Flushy knows him quite well, too, he took some of his action in the WSOP main this year, so we swapped a few Flushy tales. Sadly, I've forgotten his name. May have been Jeff. May not have been Jeff.....
He got brutally coolered & outdrawn all day, but took it splendidly, just a little knowing roll of the eyes. 2 seats to his left was a quite remarkable bloke, a "tourist" one assumes, he called EVERY Raise fom the Kid, & showed up with the most extraordinary holdings - 10-7, J-2, 8-3, that sort of thing, & was flopping two "invisible" pairs for fun.
Eventually, the Kid raises with 2-2, gets called by our man, flop 2-9-K, & all the money goes in. The Station tables 9-2 & is drawing pretty thin. "Gimme a 9" he screams, & Lady Variance obliges.
Kid now gets his bowl in on a flop of A-Q-3, & a young lady - former Delta Airlines Stewardess - playing 50 bigs dwells for 30 or 40 seconds then calls with Top Two....."gg all, laterz" with a shrug of the shoulders & a smile.
Really decent kid.

His seat was taken by Dennis Phillips, 3rd in the 2008 WSOP Main for $4.5 million. Not met him before, but really liked him a lot. Friendly & warm disposition, easy to smile, good eye contact, took his beats properly, very laid back, easy going, laconic. Barry Shulman was also on the table.
Here's Denis.

Paid in last night for today's $340, & was given my seat draw - Seat 2.
Have now entered 4 Comps here, & drawn Seat 2 (10 handed Tables) in all 4.
Are the odds of that 9 x 9 x 9, or 9 x 9 x 9 x 9?

Depends if you mean getting ANY seat 4 times in a row, or getting seat two 4 times in a row.

Getting ANY seat 4 times in a row would be 9 x 9 x 9 - the first time it's a given, you HAVE to be given some seat, it matters not which one.

Depends on what point you start counting from.
If you noticed that you had been given seat 2 for the last 3 tournys, the odds of getting the 4-timer up are 9-1.
If you wanted to calculate the probability of seat 2 in the next 4 that you play, it would be (0.1^4). Or in old money, 9,999/1
