looking forward to the main event next year?

I'll post & reply properly later, Cos, I'm out of time right now.

For now, suffice to say, I cannot easily recall being humbled quite as much, and I'm exceedingly touched & grateful to everyone.

My jaw drops every time I read that thread, I can barely believe my eyes.

It's a very complex matter, this pride thing......

For now, thank you.

That's why I just started it. Really wasn't surprising to me or anyone else that the action would be selling so quickly. Pretty much everyone in that list could be told in advance that you'd cash for $0 and they'd still take the pieces just because everyone wants to see you play it. The chance you might cash is an irrelevant bonus really.

You do so much staking these days that you really shouldn't feel weird about accepting it.

You just absolutely have to play the main event at least once.

I knew I was taking a slight risk

100% correct Greek one. It's all about the love.

Tbf the last thing Tikay wants to do is win the main event. Looks like he is gonna sell 400% of himself and will end up out of pocket millions

This abs nailed it Greek. Tony, everyone that uses this site has you to thank for their enjoyment and it is our way of showing that appreciation. If I had paid a pound for each thread I had read and enjoyed or every update I had followed or the times I have felt happy when people on here are winning comps or getting good results then I would owe you a buy in on my own. The biggest thing tho is how really chuffed I am at what you have achieved by working hard and playing a WSOP main event must be on your bucket list, so please let us put you in and enjoy  the buzz.

We should put you in this year tho, would bring the fun forward, do work commitments mean you cannot play this year?

My friend Phil is there, nothing to do with poker.  He's English and lives in San Fransisco but is there on vacation with his wife and three young (5-9yr old) boys.  If you bump into them, say hello.   I clicked your blog link in return Wink

Enjoying the updates, hope you're having fun Tony Smiley

Another fine read. Any plans to interview superstars of the poker world like last year. They were the bomb

When I was there in early March, downtown was struggling to support 3/4 games. 1 at binions and 2/3 at the nugget, this was a midweek early evening from memory.

In contrast somewhere like Red Rock (a locals casino) was booming mid afternoon, running 10+ tables.

Will answer those questions later, thanks, but for now, something for Tighty.

Am at Golden Nugget playing a little fun Omaha tourney, and a hairy chap sat next to me spotted my Sky Poker patch, and asked if I was sponsored by them, I explained I worked for them, da de da.

He then said " ho you know Hes Huffy?".

After some difficulty, we got there, he meant Des.

Bla bla bla.

Turns out he knows you too, and blonde, the lot.

His name is Juan, he is Captain of the Spanish APAT team, knows DTD, da de da.

What a small world!
