Thewy, Alex, Pete Linton still going along nicely in the WSOP $1k, they are almost on the Bubble. I could not see Geo, but I'm sure I just missed him.
Pretty hard to get a decent Pete Linton photo, but he can always gets a stack, wherever he is.

So Alex decides to impress me.......

This REALLY fascinates me, this "covering the mouth/face" thing. Any psychology or body language student would have a field day with it. It sort of saddens me that this sort of thing never, like never EVER, gets discussed on PHA. Anyway, I digress.

Anyway, Alex raised pre, & he gets one caller. The caller leads most of the way, & sticks a chunky bet in on the river of this board. (I am opposite the dealer, so read the board backwards, 6-4-5-5-7). Alex dwells.

Eventually, after a medium dwell, & a quick count of his stack, our Hero calls with the ONLY hand he can possibly have.

Kiddo announces, after betting the River, & getting called by Posh Boy, "A high".
Alex tables his monster. What other hand COULD he have?
So thats how it's done, see?

I'm a big fan of the mouth covering too, depends on my mood though. People give off a lot of sub conscious things with their mouth, such as small twitches upwards on the turn of a good card etc etc

I played cash with the guy on the right of the Thewy pic a few days ago. He claimed to be the guy that busted Vicky Coren in the ladies event and the subsequent target for her blog rant lol

Met Des Wilson at the weekend. Made the last two tables at Plymouth with me and Pizzled.
You know him? I was very impressed by him.
