Plump Bloke. Awaiting totals, as I staked him as well, he played 93 Tourneys & never won a cent....he even managed to lose $200 at $1 - $2 Limit. It should take a fortnight to lose that at Limit.......send me the final bill mate, & I'll send the lot at once.
Sent you the totals from my tournaments Sir
Didn't add on to that total what I won from your stake btw as I forgot
All paid.
Just await Irene now. Women......
Received, thank you.

As I'm getting a lot of PM's, FB messages & texts, I guess I need to clarify my position as to APAT.
A Press Release was made about a week ago, & it is on the APAT Forum, together with a statement by me.
I have resigned my position as APAT Chairman, effective about a week ago.
So, in before "was there a problem?" so to speak......!
In brief, they now have their own Online Poker Site, & that caused me some commercial conflicts of interest which I could not really find a way round. My posiition next door would have become very awkward if I owned a stake, no matter how small, in another Online Room. It just does not fit, really.
I'm happy next door, very, & they have been very good to me, so I don't want to compromise my position with them in any way. I'm cogniscant that my corporate retirement age looms ever closer, & if & when that thorny obstacle arises, that's me done, & I'll happily toddle off.
My time at APAT gave me immense satisfaction, it goes at the top of my poker CV, for what that's worth, & although it was very time-consuming originally, I don't regret it for a second.
I shall continue to support them in every way I can, but from now on, just as an outsider.
For the detail geeks, a fuller clarification of my position as to this is on the APAT Forum.
As to the APAT Online Room, it arose because of a situation with Matt Dale, & his site, "poker.co .uk". That is quite possibly THE most valuable domain name in UK poker, & had a worth substantially into 6 figures, I believe. That web address is now owned by a
stellar
poker Site.
Matt Dale's site is now financially intregated with APAT, to form an Online Poker site named APAT. com. It all seems to fit together rather nicely, and for my part, all the negotiations took place in good heart & spirit.
I wish everyone at APAT.com the very best, I really do. Jeez, we fought some battles, & had some fun.
Another chapter closes.

When you've got time to relax.
A "D" check down at Taff's garage.

That's tonight's entertainment sorted, thanks!
Is that BAMC @ Cardiff?
Who refurb's & does the Heavy Maintenance for Virgin Atlantic? When I flew to Vegas, it was on one of the refurbed Virgin 747's, internally much improved, but I came home on an un-refurbed one.
What sort of money would a full heavy refurb come to?
Presumably, it excludes the engines/power plants, that would be done seperately by the engine supplier under a "Life" contract?

Alan Nice Man, 1%, maximum £65 spend agreed. (PAID in advance). Due £106.75 PLUS £65, = £171.75. PM or e-Mail me your Bank Details please, & I will ship.
"Alan Nice Man". I received the Bank Deets 10 or 14 days ago, & I have tonight paid this by Bank TX.
After a slight teething problem, monies now received with thanks. Did any of the other stakers have to pay a 10% charge for the release of Jeeve's real identity?
I really enjoyed following your Vegas ride this year Tikay, including all your blogs and ofc, all the games you played
.
I hope you do consider playing the ME next year!!
Many thanks.
Alan....(very very nice man)

Yeah known as Taff's garage to us.
Used to all be done at Hatton cross but now farmed out to a subsiduary of BA Eng.Most of our engines are now overhauled by GE Aviation at Nantgarw also in South Wales which was tied in with us getting GE90 engines on the first phase of our 777 fleet.BA's engine shop at Heathrow closed down in the early nineties just not economically viable I guess, but heyho another Tesco's will open for the kids to work at.All a bit sad for the South East.
Virgin's heavy checks are mostly done abroad Singapore or Haeko in Hong Kong where people literally work for a bowl.

Have you weighed in since returning from Vegas to see what the damage is? I'm just curious how fast it went back on after such a quick loss.
Jack and I have started a weight loss challenge and the loser at the end of 12 weeks has to get a tattoo of the winner's fav rugby club. He'll be sporting a Munster tattoo soon.

Sigh - I lumped a STONE on, in 4 weeks!
Deservedly so, though, & I thoroughly enjoyed doing so.
I never had a single sit-down meal in Vegas, but I ate loads of tosh - scampi & chips, hot dogs, giant Danish pastries, sandwiches galore, 6 or 7 starby's per day, & TWO huge Cream Chocolate Eclairs EVERY day. So I had the weight gain coming to me.
I will lose the stone by September 8th, which is the SPT Grand Final weekend in Nottingham.

Whats that, you never had a sit down meal? All those quality places to eat and buffets. You must be in a very very minute group who could say that.

Weirdly both times I've been to Las Vegas I've lost weight.
Both times I walked quite a bit - but I still can't quite work out how it outweighed all the stuff I eat.

Edit. Please don't think I read the telegraph. Just saw it whilst reading Woodsey's New Zealand prostitute thread
