Have you weighed in since returning from Vegas to see what the damage is?  I'm just curious how fast it went back on after such a quick loss.

Jack and I have started a weight loss challenge and the loser at the end of 12 weeks has to get a tattoo of the winner's fav rugby club.  He'll be sporting a Munster tattoo soon.   Wink

Sigh - I lumped a STONE on, in 4 weeks!

Deservedly so, though, & I thoroughly enjoyed doing so.

I never had a single sit-down meal in Vegas, but I ate loads of tosh - scampi & chips, hot dogs, giant Danish pastries, sandwiches galore, 6 or 7 starby's per day, & TWO huge Cream Chocolate Eclairs EVERY day. So I had the weight gain coming to me.

I will lose the stone by September 8th, which is the SPT Grand Final weekend in Nottingham.

And the rest Gramps!!

At least we transferred you to skinny lattes without you even noticing, saved you a stone of weight right there.

Stunning programme, but it irritated me that everyone had to wear eye protectors an all times no matter what they were doing.

Posted this for Tikay in a long dead thread. Figured I'd repost it here:

Congrats on your finish.  I randomly bumped into this thread while looking for more PLO8 tournaments. Would have said congratulations earlier if I could answer your damn security questions (wtf is a Pillar mailbox???)

Funny, you and I sat next to each other at the Wynn tournament and were (pleasantly) giving each other a hard time before the first cards hit the table.  Something about how mean Americans were as I recall...

Loads of building sites insist on eye protection these days. It's safety boots, hard hat, hi visibility vest, gloves and eye protection at all times.

It's pretty tilting but it's become pretty much standard with the big building companies and no doubt many other industries as well.

It's not the worse thing ever though is it? Surely if it saves one person's eye then it's worth the hassle?

Imho Matt, no, it's not worth the hassle. See it's not just one pair of safety specs, it's millions and millions of people wearing safety gear when it's totally unnecessary.

I've watched surveyors spend the entire day in the middle of a grass field wearing a hard hat. What's the danger, a bird might shit on him?

A stewardess in the programme had to wear protective glasses to show the camera man the little fridge in the galley.

Why don't bakers wear crash helmets? If it saves one life, it would be worth it.

You only get one pair of bollocks. Do you wear a protective box every day?

Probably wants protection in case he bumps into any psycho cyclists.
