It's amazing how many wild birds one can see when out dogging in dimly lit woodland

It's a "life balance" thing.

I needed to adjust, I play poker, work in poker, write about poker, & eventually it gets that you cant see the wood for trees.

I've had so much fun trying my best to get wildlife photos, & I love it to bits, I really do. Joking aside, I was down by the Thames at first light this morning, & took hundreds of photos.

Every day, somewhere, I encounter hassle & aggro, & I'm too old for it now, I just want to wind down in peace & quiet. The photography helps me do that.

It was grand to see you on Friday, at DTD. I never recognized you at first, I thought you were Mitch.

Interest in my jogging & latte habits, but no interest in that wonderful cormorant, fml.

I bet a pound to a pinch of shit that if I had called the Cormorant by it's alternative (& equally correct) name, everyone would have commented.

Value for money? Yes. At what max price? Can't even guess.

I think the perspective it would give on London, views none of us have ever seen, would be memories for a lifetime. Especially with my photographic skills.

I really can't get interested in history stuff for some reason. Bit like art, & space travel in a way, they do nothing for me.

The Empire State Building charge $25 and I would say that is far more value for money than the Shard and far more interesting things to view imo

I doubt there would be many clear days in London where you would get a clear view like the one advertised.

Tikay , if you haven't visited New York I suggest you do so, I think you would love it.

 Its my favourite city in the world that I have been fortunate enough to visit.
