Tikay, you might like this book:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Survival-Fittest-Anatomy-Physical-Performance/dp/0224075071
Dr Mike Stroud, friend of Sir Ranulph Fiennes, is the author. Talks about all sorts of things that the human body is capable of, and talks in some detail about age not being synonymous with 'feeling old'. A good read.
I don't "feel old". But I am.
And there is no doubt that age-related things do affect me now. May as well face the facts.

She's on her late 80s!!
Not quite as impressive as that, but my mother is 87 and still does a headstand every day and lots of yoga.

Sounds impressive to me. She generally in relative good health and look good for her age compared to her peers?

For the all complaining that gets done about Ryanair, I've never had a single problem with them. It always sounds like a case of people wanting to get more than they pay for?

There's a story of Lord Saatchi being presented with the BA advert in a meeting, where the exec has come up with "The world's number one airline".
While the room set about debating it and slowly coming to agree, Saatchi is said to have risen from his chair, walked around to the board and, without a single utterance, crossed out 'number one', replacing it with 'favourite'.
One by one, the talkers stopped and realised what he had done.
It is an incredibly emotive and powerful phrase, whatever the circumstances of its origin.

Just caught up on the last 50 pages or so and glad to see you are maintaining your place as second best diary on Blonde
excellent contributions all round.
Living in the sticks every now and again you find yourself down the road less travelled and come across a place that although within 10 or 20 miles of your house you have never heard of and have never seen before.
This week such an occurrence when I can across this beauty - please look it up online as my pictures do it no justice at all.

Booton Church, free for anyone to wander in, and it truly is an amazing building I don't think I have ever been so beguiled by a piece or architecture.
My questions to you, if today you were to project Manage the building of a replica church of this ilk how long would you expect it to take? Would it even be possible?
