Tikay, how are you feeling about the Main Event? From listening to you on skypoker ive always had the impression you wouldnt end up playing it as its a tad pricey  Smiley With the staking all set, how do you plan to approach it strategy-wise? Really hope you do well, and if you stick to your principles im sure you will

I like many others love this Thread.  For all of us recreational players who can't get there but have been before the thread gives a lovely reminder of the place. Couple that with the poker that you play and the  way you approach this "cough cough" , young mans game ( go Barney).makes it such a treat.

Can't wait for the main, no pressure,  but just looking forward to the whole forum being behind you and us all enjoying it through you.

You here Glenda?

We could hook up, & do Vegas together. The Train Museum, the concrete beauty of Hoover Dam, that sort of thing, maybe even an ice cream, or sticky bun.

Tokay what are your favourite 3 hotels in Vegas and least favourite from an appearance point of view. Can do strip and or downtown?

Morning Jim.

I honestly don't really know the Downtown hotels. I know Binions is falling to bits, thats all.

If the question is "best/worst three visually", well top three is easy, there are only three worth a second glance, but all three are awe-inspiring & can invoke leakage if I stare at them for too long. Honestly, I could stand & stare, marvel, at these three all day long. Simply perfect, for Vegas. They got the scale just right, too, they are all monster large, but so beautifully designed they don't look big at all. Rather like the A380 does not look big, but is in fact far bigger than a 747. Scale is key.

The Wynn/Encore twins, easily best, + Vdara, & Aria.

Worst three? MUCH harder, there are so many.

I think New York New York, Paris, Trump, Harrahs, & Excalibur take the biscuit though, especially Excalibur.

What WERE they thinking?

Honestly, I'd rather read 10 pages of Sttars Hand Histories than look at these monstrosities, they make me feel so sad that we waste resource on such obscene buildings.

No - but I'd love to.

Simply beautiful. I'd marry it, & we'd have lots of little Aria children.

We interrupt this thread to bring you some skyscraper construction porn.

We now return you to the regular broadcasts of whining and nonsense.
