Incoming from Twitter:
Caesars Palace Poker @CLVPoker · 15h
@relax8n We will be located next to the Race and Sports Book on the opposite side from the old room. 2nd or 3rd week of June.
That all seems a very odd, last minute, thing to do & say?
For months it has been debated it was closing, transferring to PH, bla bla bla, then 2 days into the WSOP, they suddenly say they are relocating within CP?
Something not quite adding up there.
Incidentally, some news for you Simon, as I know you are a lover of fine food & a bit of a Vegas expert on such matters.
I had not been to The Orleans since 2004, Jen & I stayed there, & I had quite forgotten how big it is.
I was most impressed with the Food Court yesterday, one of the best I've seen in Vegas, it had a Subway, a Baskin Robbins, TGI Fridays, a Krispy Kreme franchise, & a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. Gourmet dining does not get much better than that.

First decent squeeze of the summer, hopefully the first of many.
Congrats. on making day two. 11am sounds perfect for you and your predilection for early-rising, however I thought you told me that jet-lag was only for wimps.

Age seems to be catching up with me Ralph, I don't seem to have the energy levels I used to have. Honestly, I admire you so much the way you carry your years, if I can be half as good when I reach your age, I'll be well happy, you are an inspiration to me.

Note to Stakers
I am scheduled to play the $600 PLO8 @ Venetian @ 5pm today, one of the bigger (more expensive.....) events on the Stake.
I may not play this, depends how long I last @ the Orleans thing, & how I feel afterwards. Going from the sharp end of a Tourney to a new one is an adjustment I don't always find easy, what with adrenelin hangovers & all that gubbins.
I deffo want to play it, should be a great event, but I'll not play if I don't feel right upstairs after the Orleans thing, & I won't Late-Reg on principle.
Starts @ 5pm, so time should not be an issue.

Thank you Mr Rubbish.
Not seen Jeeves in days, last time I saw him he was loitering outside that Glitter Gulp place Downtown.

I think the fact that you are changing from a game that you are good at to a different one that is definitely imo your strongest should make the switch much easier to handle than if they were both the same game.
Obviously if you are exhausted by winning today's early event I/we will excuse you.

Think you may be right, Ralph. I was a bit under the weather and unusually grumpy earlier, but I feel a tad better now, and am now more than likely to play it. 2 day PLO8 tourneys are rare beasts indeed, and it would be daft to miss it really, and I would regret it probably.

Comical scenes after a false bubble when the TD got confused, but now we are genuinely down to 18, two tables, and in the money.
Payment structure is very flat now, so going to try and find my rarely worn action pants. A self-bok if ever I saw one, and I have deep experience in the Bok Dept.
We shall see, but am relieved to get off the mark.
The warm wishes are much appreciated, thank you.
