BOOM, well done Simon.

With around 50 left, you looked to have about 20,000 (@ 500-1,000), so you must have got a right wriggle on thereafter.

What a fun tourney it was, too, best fun I've had so far this trip.

$2,500, very nice indeed, well done.

I made notes of all my significant hands yesterday, & was running along so well that I was convinced I would cash, but there is no Wifi @ Golden nugget, so the plan was to give Ralph & my interpid investors a sort of hand by hand squeeze this morning, with no result spoilers.

The photo of the Final Table, minus yours truly, however, sort of gives the game away, so I may as well reveal I exited around 50th.

Anyway, will post some of the details shortly.

A really enjoyable Tourney, for sure.

Big O (5 card PLO8) is such an interesting game, as every street changes the possibilities so significantly.

With 5 cards in our hands, we have TEN x 2 card possible hands, plus we are often playing for 2 completely separate pots, so that means we have 20 possible 2 card hands to juggle. Tremendous fun, & possibly my favourite poker format.

Still never cashed, though....

There IS wifi there? I assumed you had to be a Guest to get the Password. Good news, thanks.

Yes, I'll be there tomorrow for the PLO8/BigO8 mix, whatever that is. Seems a very odd combination. Presumably, a round of 4 card followed by a round of 5 card? If so, how very odd.

Would have thought you had all made your way down to do some shoebombs on the rail of the O8/Stud8 final table by now...

Thank you!

Will try that, & if it works, will get some updates going.

The very rare combo of a Noon PLO8/BigO Tourney today. Not sure - well I am sure - I've ever played one of those before.

Will try & catch up with Reports, & thread replies, soonest, been up most of the night playing cash again.
