1% please Mr T if I may - looking forward to my annual vicarious PLO8 fix. PM bank details when you have a mo.
Welcome aboard, good to have a PLO8 specialist along for the ride.
I won't be posting additions to the team - you will see them on the spready.

Something along the lines of: "I think that is a really good idea of yours, Tony" would be more appropriate.

This was a pretty sad story, I thought....
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/05/02/scouts-waiting-list-reaches-35000-as-volunteers-are-scared-off-b/
Cliffs - The waiting list for boys to join the Boy Scouts is 35,000. Why? Because Scout Leaders - all unpaid volunteers - have to comply with Criminal Records Bureau red tape, & there is now almost a stigma associated with adults who work with children.
In this day & age, I thought it was rather pleasing that so many boys want to become Boy Scouts, it's a wholesome & healthy thing, & very much part of The University of Life to go on camps, & learn about life, survival skills & so on.
I know if I had children, who had to choose between playing games on their tablets, which is oh-so addictive & anti-social, or being a Boy Scout, my kids would not be given the choice. No crap reality TV either, just documentaries & stuff. Oh yes.
I understand why Scout Leaders need to be vetted, but the tail is wagging the dog here. And in truth, if a perv wants to mess with kids, they will.
As a kid, I am struggling to remember much that made me happier, or more proud, than being a Boy Scout, & going on camp. We had a posh uniform & everything. We had to dig latrines, (& fill them in....) pitch tents, make a fire to cook with, go on organised "find your way back" hikes.
Travel to & from camp was in the back of an open Fruit & Veg lorry, loaned to the Scouts by Meyers Greengrocers. Can you imagine the H & S reaction to 20 kids being transported around on the open back of a lorry these days? And yet we loved it.

Is it ok for me to transfer £178 now ?
Thanks
Absolutely, if you have Mr. Kendall's bank details.
He may even favour you with an answer to your question one of these years.
Sent.
Good luck.

Hi Tony,
Yes, as Sir Marky noted, Big O is 5 Card PLO8.
When I play cash in Vegas, that's my game of choice, always, with 5 card PLO the next choice.
If stuck for a game, I go across to Venetian & play Limit O8 cash, & sit there with huge racks of low denom chips in front of me, as most seem to.
I bought in for the Max 1 day - $400 - & the cash desk gave me FOUR racks of chips. It's awesome.

Sorry John, was working last night, so I missed it. What was it?
Matt Elliott was huge fun, really enjoyable company.
The knock-on effect of the Leicester City thing is remarkable. He mainly dabbles in Media work these days, & told me he is fully booked now for the foreseeable future. And as a Radio Leicester commentator for all Leicester City games, he's pleasantly surprised to see that next season, as well as Stoke & Southampton & the like, he'll be travelling all over Europe, in the CL.
