Not exactly the nut seat draw, but it'll do for starters.

Level 1 negotiated with reasonsble safety, 13,100 from 15,000 starting.

Sounds bad - well, is bad - but I was down to 8,700 at one point, so can't complain really.

Got most of the losses back in a 5 way pot when I turned the nut high, then faced a bet and 3 callers on a flop and turn with 2 low cards. I did not have a playable low so had to pump it up and lose all my customers, but I don't think I have any choice in that spot.

152 runners so far.

Level 2 complete, 162 entrants now, blinds now go 100-200.

Table is incredibly aggro, and we have lost 3 players from this table already, and 17 in total.

Not exactly crushing, have 12,200, but that'll do for now.

Decent table, 3 top class players, the rest of us pretty average.

It's fearfully noisy here.

Am in the section right in front of the sportsbook. They are showing Mexico v USA in soccer, and the Stanley Cup final, so everyone is whooping and hollering as only American sports fans can.

Not complaining like, obv, but I do like a bit of hush and decorum, as I'm quite posh.

Will need a few nice spots soon, can't hit a thing here, and am down to 10,600 at the end of level 3. (First break).

182 runners of which 152 remain, blinds now 150-300.

Not to be rude to or about JJ, but he is playing abso spanners and hitting every time. Think he must have 30,000. Good luck to him, but I fancy he and I will be going to war at some stage.

And this young chap just joined our table, 2 seats to my right. Things are about to get even tougher.

This alternate ticket is a clue that a major accident just arose, and, inevitably, it  was against JJ.

I limped UTG with

JJ raised, and due to his eclectic range, he collected SIX callers.

This was exactly the plan, so I potted it, and, exactly as expected, he re-potted. As sure as God made little apples, I know I am ahead of JJ here.

But then, to my surprise, geezer round the back, new to the table, calls all in. I call too, obv.

JJ tables (something like) 9-10-J-K and the other fella has A-3-5-8.

The J-7-6 flop was about as good as I dare expect, but JJ somehow got there with runner runner straight. And then, incredibly, said "really sorry Tony" which I really appreciated. Ish.

The other geezer took the low, so that was that. I was really surprised when he came along, though am not saying it was a bad play. The plan was to get heads up with JJ, and if that had happened, we chop.

Such is life, on we go.

Haven't heard a thing about him for years, wonder if he is still singing (hopefully not?).

His father was my mothers GP for many years.

Meanwhile, in better news, on my new table I raise it up with a nice double suited combo hand, and get re-raised, FML.

Decide to take a flop and re-assess.

Long story short, I walked into aces, but got three quarters of a monsta pot, and am now sitting behind a nice looking 26,000.
