Hero appears to be alive and in the Rendezvous Casino for the Brighton leg of the SPT.
He does sadly still seem to be suffering from that devastating affliction we have understood to have ailed him for some time. You know, the one that makes him think wearing a neon pink t-shirt is the very essence of sartorial majesty.
Tear to the eye, stuff.
Oooooh, I didn't know that was on. Might have to see if I can do a bit of juggling and get down tomorrow!

Been taking lessons from English on sartorial elegance
Not sure if you were in the know when you posted that Marky, but as it happens, that man's Son played the event today.
Ha! I wasn't, but I know junior plays poker, and is always in Vegas. How did he get on?
I've been sidetracked this morning, and now a bit late to be setting off.
Have to keep an ear to the ground and get the whole weekend blocked off next time, so I can come and donate to both Day 1s

It is a McLaren. Mansory have customised it, but no idea who they are.

There was a great moment yesterday at the table I was at.
Mr Eubank Jr was there, quietly spoken and of relaxed posture but with a clear determination to do well.
A middle aged woman looked to him between hands: "Excuse me. Is your name Chris?"
He nodded and smiled with his mouth, but not his eyes, indicating it was indeed. He clearly got this a lot.
"You used to come into my chippie as a boy"
These words had the most incredible effect on his face. What was deference and obligation was suddenly replaced with a childlike, beaming grin; a smile so broad it washed across his face like the brighton tide. For that moment, he wasn't a prize fighter knocking lumps out of fellow pugilists for millions across the world. For that moment, he was that teenager again.
With a humility that could almost pass for embarrassment, he could only get one word through his wistful smirk.
"Yeah".

It is a McLaren. Mansory have customised it, but no idea who they are.
Mansory are a German modification company, apparently entirely staffed by the blind.
That abomination started out as a 2018 McLaren 720S, does 0-124mph in 7.8 seconds.

Back in the day I was to the right of Ian Frazer at an SPT and he leaned over and discreetly said to me so the whole table could hear (!) excuse me love but do you know you have a pretty clear tell? Yes he said, whenever you have a great hand your pupils dilate....oh bloody hell I replied. I only thought they did that when I was making love.....

It's a near guaranteed source of gold to watch how poker tables change when women are playing.
