Chesham
Excellent guess, but wrong.
It's only wrong if you drove the wrong way.

Epping ?
This is, I suspect, a comment on my navigational skills.....
There was no misread, I took the shoetest route, roads permitting.
Ralph - behave.

I agree, it would have to be Amersham.

Clever answer by Tracey.......
I drove the CORRECT Route, Let me slightly rephrase the question then, because Tracey is correct, I COULD have passed Chesham, but I did not.
It was BEFORE Chesham. So the FIRST London Underground Statioin I passed.

Yes, it's Amersham. Now, I know I'm a bit odd, but it seemed so incongrous, driving through such lovely Buckinghamshire countryside, to come acrss a Tube Station.
The Winner?
Wel, let's agree the Prize, first.
You get my undivided attention for a whole night.
Now who think's they've won?
Anyone? Hello. HELLO?

I played the £100 Freeze at Luton on Sunday night, This is as good a 1 day comp as you'll find anywhere, 10k stack.
I lated 20 minutes, ffs. Coimpletely unforced error, my fault. My oppo was a loose goose, & will play weak hands extremely strongly. I had A-Q on a Q-5-4 Rainbow Flop, & bet out, & he made a massive re-raise. Knowing him, he had some sort of Q, & would never Pass it, so I went all-in. Mistake. He called with trip Fives. He trapped me all ends up. I just could not imagine a big re-raise with trips, & I walked into it a treat.
Bad play by me, however you look at it. I preach never to fall in love with or risk your Tourney on 1 pair, & this guy WOULD do that with 1 pair, but it was a terrible play by me, down to lack of concentration or focus I suppose. How daft does it get, a 10k stack, & I get the lot in with one pair? Playing the player cost me dearly here, & if I think I can outplay these guys - & I do - it makes no sense at all.
Mental abberration.

Well I wasn't actually sure where High Wickham is so I just picked a random end of the line tube station

Confidence bouyed by my cash-game scoop on Friday, I played Double Chance again last night at Luton.
I sat down with £200, ran it up to £600, then lost the lot & £400 more to go £600 down, & ended up £400 down. Poo.
The whole table texture was very different last night, & I was a bit out of my depth, plus not luckboxing quiet as much as I did on Friday. Jim McShane outclassesd me, Dave Courtney is fearless & builds huge Pots (great fun though), Brian Glover plays well, Tony is good, as is The Judge, & the only value on the table was not visible. So it must have been me...... I kept hitting marginals, & calling. Bad, bad cash-play.
Must get my Table Selection better.
Must get my Table Selection better.
