Do girls really go for this kind of rubbish?

Why are you asking Tikay?

A man with his age and expieriance surely know's,  If it does work then I'm off to get a XR3i with a big ass sub woofer!

Tikay probably thinks a sub woofer is a dog with an underactive thyroid.

You just spoiled your chances of staring in my joke about a big ass sub woofer.

We just need Tracey to turn up now, & we have a perfect evening in store. Tom, do your persuasive thing.

Went to Luton last night, & watched in awe as Tighty blitzed the field in the £50 + £50 + £50. He's got some record there.

I watched him Button-Raise with K-Q & get smooth-called by a young lad. Flop is K high, Little Boy checks, Big Man Bets, Little Boy moves all-in. Big Man looks unwell, asks for a Rennie. Then calls. Little Boy has Aces. Turn, K.........

But he made the call, & that's the thing. 6 months ago, he passes there for sure. And as Thewy has shown, you gotta trust to luck sometimes, you can't win chips if your chips are not in the middle.

I had a fun-time, but not for long. I called a R with 6-3 & flopped trips, got paid, then blew half my stack racing against Jim McShane's two Pair when I flopped the K flush draw. But I played it right (IMO) putting Jim to the decision for which he correctly called, he Housed up on the turn befiore I annoyingly & uselessly Rivered my now drawing dead flush.

So back to grinding, but then I exited in a no-brainer. With 9-3, we saw a flop of 8-9-9, & short-stack moved in for 800, Deep-Stack smooth called, & I pushed for 5k more to isolate shorty. I had Shorty dead & buried, he had the 8, but Deep-stack, bit of a non-smiler, quickly called, & I know I may have a kicker problem now........ No regrets, I have my share of luck.

Nice to see Dingdell & Red down there, too, Red does not get there very often, & I'm hoping he'll be there more often. He played the Hold-Em Cash until about 4am, made a little I believe.

I had another interesting cash-session, being seriously down at one stage, to the tune of £1,500, but I clawed it back & finished just £174 down. There was a guy on the Cash-Table who had inherited my luck from Friday, & he blitzed us all, hand after hand. One Pot was £1,800, & Jim McShane & I both had outs galore, & both missed the bloody lot. But we got him in the end, glory be.

The Comp, by the way, started 3 minutes EARLY, well done Luton!

I played the Cash-Game until turned 5am, then when I got home at 7am, did 2 hours work before going to bed. Sadly, I had to pay the bill for too many late nights recently, & spent almost all of today in bed.

I did get up at Midday & did 3 hours of e-Mails & stuff, but then went back to bed, & got up at 8.30pm! I'm up to speed now, though, but got a heap of stuff to wade through.

Oh, & I'm grumpy.

I have a whole bunch of e-addresses - my own personal one, plus blonde, Sky, APAT, Sporting Odds, so inevitably I attract a whole shed-load of spam. I probably get, on average, around 50 genuine e-Mails most days, no prob, but I get just as many, if not more, spammy ones.

The ones that intrigue me are a bit clever. I open them, & they are just trollop & tosh, bla bla bla, but then, suddenly, the text changes, & it spams a Stock/Share thats being ramped, Viagra, whatever. How do these e-Mails miraculously say one thing when you first open them, but then magically transform into something else?

Good news from fellow Poker Week-er Michelle Orpe today - she played the Super-Sat at The Vic last night, & won her seat into the London EPT!

She plays tomorrow. Sadly, her Granny died today, so a mixed few days for the girl.

I hope she does well on Wednesday at the EPT, anyway.

Talking of the EPT, I keep banging on that these do not reprsent "value" for anyone. I am not anti-EPT, but my word, they do seem to attraect some bizarre plays.

Here's a hand from tonight's blonde Live Update......This is about Level 5, Blinds 300-600, & neither player is in chip trouble.

"......Jonas Molander has been mullered.  One of the chip leaders Ola Brandborn, who has in previous times been a writer for various poker magazines, is transitioning into poker playing stardom.  He raised to 1,500 in middle position to find Jonas on the BB going all in for 13,250.  It didnt take Brandborn too long to call the extra 12k with JQ suited!!  Molander was holding AK and a flopped Q was enough to send Jonas Molander OUT in the last level......".

Now, try telling me that's a good play. This is kids who don't know the value of money. OK, OK, I'm grumpy, but I don't think I'll ever play another EPT. I cashed in Deauville, & have not played one since. Bugger that for a way to waste £5,400. For that money, I can play a lot of comps, have a ball, & guarantee - yes, pretty much - to make a profit by careful Tournament Selection. No wonder the APAT Events are so popular, at £75 it's affordable, & fun, but to pay £5,400 & encounter play like that, well, it's not for me.

Flushy rung me 107 times yesterday, chirp chirp chirp. He's insisted I Post the top 5  (out of 15,114 worldwide) in the Poker Pages Pro-Rank 2. I suppose I had better oblige, he keeps ringing every 5 minutes saying he'll return to blonde if I don't.

Welldoneaments to the Flushster. Which, of course, I don't mean.
