what kind of probs you having Rivh, our wireless is up the spout on the lappie.
Unable to access stars or tilt
can get on blonde, but discos every 5 mins or so
browser..firefox..works intermittently
Have rebooted ad nauseam, checked the router and seems fine, tried BT help (and lost the will to live) and just about to take up a new hobby. Crochet appeals.
thats the same for us but only on the wireless lappie, I have diff line from BT that is working fine tho so Im stumped but we switched the connections and the lappie workied fine so I have no idea what to do now.
I know there was a big internet problem in Asia last week, summat to do with some techno stuff getting damaged, any chance that could be summat to do with it?

Yup, exactly the same here. And as to BT Help Line......well, the least said, the better. Talk about frustrating. "Is your PC turned on? "....FFS.

Yeah my BT been playing up for the last week via wireless... On my desktop it is sitting right next to my BT Homehub, and my wireless card couldnt pick up the signal for any more than 15 seconds! So i thought it was my wireless card, went to pc world, bought another better one, and that doesnt work either, sigh.
Have had to connect via ethernet, but even then the box switches itself on and off every hour or so, real annoying.
cheers Rookie, thats exactly what the Mrs was gonna do, will tell her to sit tight.

You need to figure out if your wireless connection is dropping out (between computer and router) or the internet connection itself is dropping out.
Then you can start troubleshooting the right bit...

Well at least I'm not alone, with two grown-ups, Bobby & Tighty, not to mention Sonny Bloody Jim, who owes me £500, all having BT grief. It's been like this almost a week now.

That's up there with prince Ranier's similar pose a few years ago....

What is a router?
I think it's the connection. No idea why I think that, but I bet I'm right.

Look, It was APAT Cardiff, & Dena's debut as APAT TD. They told me to keep an eye on her, as it was her first gig with APAT. So I did. All weekend. It's not pleasant, the things I get asked to do, but you know me, dutiful to the very end. I can't actually remember who won it now, but I do have clear memories of the Trophy.
I think she still needs watching though, & I'm on the case. Trust me Des, I am.
