Sorry not replied to your Posts & comments yet (I will, bear with me please) , yesterday was the busiest day I can recall in many a moon, & I was "busy" for some 20 hours straight.

I took scores of "at-the-table" pics, & they'll be out of date if I don't upload them soon, but it's just crazy busy here. Nice crazy, but crazy.

The Sky Poker Qualifier, Will, survived the day, (121,000) & it kind of kept us all a bit pre-occupied until 3am.

Gotta go.

Thank you for all the lovely texts & PM's, keep them coming please. I may even reply to them when I catch breath.....Wink

A special hello to Maureen, too, who I know is not having the bit of weeks. Reece, I'm sorry to say, it still losing weight, & not at all well right now.

I hit my Vegas Wall on Sunday, burst through it on Monday, but I can see it looming again. I'm a bit homesick, & aching for some soft, mild, English rain, it's blisteringly hot here, & I yearn to see England's greenery, grass, trees & hills, & some birds, cattle, horses, and Angell.

For any Daniel Negranua groupies, an exclusive interview with him ( by Norman Pace) will be aired this evening, it was recorded earlier this week. The Channel has moved, by the way, to 865. I'll also be doing a Live Phone-In at 11.15 UK time, with a brief WSOP Update. But with Compo the Presenter tonight, who knows what we'll talk about. It won't be clothes sense, that's for sure - I hear he got into Luton in those dreadful brown flip-flops of his. Disgacefeul.

I've barely played any poker out here still, the "easy week" has yet to start, as our man is still going strong. Some lovely comps over at Caesars & The Venetian are going begging, but it is what it is. Thewy suggested I "throw a sickie", tsk tsk. Tomorrow, maybe, but today is a no-go.

But I've got the DTD Mini-Fest (or part of it) to look forward to, & I'm missing all my lovely friends at Luton & DTD.

Have a nice day.

Total Brain-Fade occurred whilst I was stood chatting for 5 or 10 minutes with Padraig. I admire his relentless work for the Simon Foundation (Irish Homeless charity) a great deal, which I totally support.

Whilst chattng, a pretty young lady come up to me, totally ignoring PP, "hi tikay, how are you?", followed by a french-style kiss on both cheeks.

Now, I know I knew her, but was struggling to place her. I did know her, I did. But who?

So I used standard practice, & pontifricated, allowing me thought-room & time, by introducing her to PP. "Great man, huge fund-raiser, shocking poker player" etc. I then took  picture of them together, we chatted a little more, then off they toddled.

It was fully 10 minutes before the penny dropped.

Padraig & Veronique, his wonderfully charismatic & beautiful (& long-suffering) partner for as long as I've known them. Not sure what she thought when I introduced her to PP. I might have got it through, under "quirky sense of humour", you know.

Glad your OK Tikay

V5 will be on your doorstep by time your home I've told them I'm (you are ) away on holiday. Data protection and all that.

Cost me £25 for the privilege of getting you a new V5.

First time I've ever been trying to convince someone I'm 60 Even if I am 40 Today. ( 3 years today since J4 Mugged
in the WSOP) How quick has that 3 years gone.

Have a great time

John, thank for the Text, you are a top bloke, & thank you for the V5, it's been worrying me to death.

Happy Birthday! And yes, I remember as if it were yesterday, you Railing me all day in that WSOP Event (& Methusuah Karabiner was there, too). But it was not J4 that did me, it was A-4, v my A-J, all-in pre. Not that I'm still bitter.

I met A-4 man yesterday, sigh, & "Wombat", the Aussie who was on my Table that evening, & Bo Schledst (sp), too. Photos to follow.

With thanks to Mr K.

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;

Oh my goodness! He has an annual wager with son Tristran, as to who will win most each year, & usually comes out on top. Looks like he's nailed 2008.

Ian had no luck in the WSOP ME, he had 3 big hands in one orbit, & got no action, then busted.

Nice one Ian.

Oddly, I don't recall seeing much of Ian at DTD, maybe I just missed him.

$quarter of a mill - vey nice!

The moment the Bubble burst, last night, around midnight.

They played one more 2 hour Level, & lost 192 players!

As of half hour ago, 4pm local, they were down to 363, & everyone is guaranteed $29,000. The next Ladder is 351st, then it goes $32k & change.

Will, the Sky Poker lad, doubled up early, & is on 220,000. His "guest", Ed Rodgers, who came for the ride as part of Will's winning package, squeezed in the Tourney after selling 70% of himself, is on 600k-ish.

Dave Colclough just busted. He got a shade unlucky earlier with J-J v A-Q - Board 3-7-5-6-4 - though as DC said, it wass "only" a race, so not a suckout.

Camel from his early heights of 240,000 shrunk to 70k, but is right back in the mix with 300k+.

Kara Scott is in similar territory.

Gus Hansen is going well.

Jaffa Cake Kimber remains in the 600k's, & Cod-Eye Jones continues to grind.

Steve Davis remains interested with 10k ish.

The WSOP Bubble is incredibly stressful, & here's Team Eck grinding away during the pre-Bubble H4H.

Stef, "The Mole", has the tab on, the bare knee to the right belongs to MickyP, & I've had to edit the rest of him out for purpose of decency, as he's wearing "those" shorts.

Two drunken British spectators Railing Eck at the WSOP. Eck sought their advice, "come to the Bar" they said, & he did. Don't mess with The Mole, by the way, he's evil.

Not much room for more adverts or logos there.

Miss K Scott, on her way to 300k, & Railed every hand by Nick Wealthall.

Eck yesterday afternoon. I'd just Passed his table on the way for a coffee break, & he had dust, 30k-ish.

"Gone?" I asked.

"Gone mad more like" he replied, having gone from 30k to 220k in 7 minutes flat.

Always smiling, a man who realises poker is just a game to be enjoyed.

These pics are all yesterday afternoon.

This is especially for sofa-king who PM'd me to enquire as to Roberto Romanello. Roberto was driving the Yanks mad with his speech-play, & I'd have given gold to see him (or listen to him?) share a table with Mr Hellmuth or Mr Matusow.
