Elky, with whom I shared a table in the EPT Deauville in '05, at what looked like (by his lack of Table Skills) one of his first ever Live Tourneys. I sussed immediately that he was hopeless.

Busted, moments earlier, but still smiling, Liv Boeree after a successful WSOP.

As at ease at & at home at a poker table as Gilmour is with a guitar.

No head in hands agonising for Camel, he just gets on with it, & does not do Amateur Dramatics.

Henning Gradstad, last seen at the DTD Norwegian Affair, & who featured in the first ever "semi-proper" blonde Live Update from Walsall in February of March '05, which Dave Colclough won from Junior Greg Hill, & what was also the first ever Poker 425 Edition, & thus my TV "analysis by fish, for fish" debut, under the tutorage of Steve Meehan "wormster" & Phil Quayle bobby1. A fair bit of water has flowed under my bridge since that day, & I have them to thank ( & you have them to blame)for most everything TV-wise, including all three of my Vegas trips, indirectly.

Ben Roberts, one to fear at any Cash Table, yet he looks so gentle. He, like Karabiner, seems to be shrinking with age.

I enquired aftrer his son, who I first met on his Tourney debut at The Sportsman last year, & his eyes lit up. He went on to tell me how many BB's per hour his lad is winning at the £1-£2 game at The Vic, his hourly average profit (to the penny) what his target is before he can move up, & what winning ratio he must achieve beforehe'll be allowed to turn Pro. Very strict, but proud, is Dad. The son is studying music at Uni, which seems an odd thing for a pokerist.

Online Omaha monster Richard "Chufty" Ashby. He plays mind-boggling stakes.

He said he never takes a good picture, I said, no worries, I'll get a decent one.

For snoops, Big Trev Reardon demonstrating the single-inverted chair pose. He tell me Sister-In-Law Jackie, aka "smiling assassin" & winner of the £300 at Walsall  few years back, is well.

Nope, but saw a triple-stacker yesterday, & he had a big "stand" on the Table which acted as a magnifying glass.

A blurry Bepe, who nursed a 9k stack up to 70k & then ran his A-K into Q-J.
