A Hillman Minx I think - I had one (Reg XHV 57), but it was not a soft-top.

Handled like a barge.

Looks like a Super Minx (note the indicator lights above the headlights).

The first Health and Safety picture is Havana?

I went to Cuba a couple of years ago and spent some time in Havana. Most of the buildings are in a horrible state of disrepair and it is a terrible shame because it would be a truly beautiful city if they were maintained properly.

Is it just me, or does that look like Joe Beevers on the left, and tikay on the right?

Plus it looks like he's playing the hand and not folding so I doubt it's Tikay.

Tonight is the final Leg of a 5 day funfest/Roadtrip for me, & I've got more 'photos & stories from my jaunt to jot down than enough. I promise you'll all be fast asleep soon. Pages & pages of stuff, so be warned.

But first, the highlight for me was this.

I stayed at Hickstead Lodge, which has a little wildfowl reserve all of it's own, & spent three whole hours observing this Heron at close quarters. Sadly, I could not get a decent pic - it kept sussing me! - but pics trigger memories, & it was, for me, one of the most thrilling few hours I can ever remember.

Heron's are incredibly graceful, & very "lazy" flyers. A real joy to be able to watch.

And this was a family of Cormorants who took exception to my company.

It was so tranquil there, & I adored a little time away from the hurdy-gurdy of poker.

I did manage one shot of the Heron in it's glorious flight, but I think I need to work on my photography skills, & maybe get it in the frame next time.

For now, I'll label this the Wherethefckisit bird.
