Wow, how cool is all this?

It's just amazing.

Sorry I could not chat when you rang an hour back, I had become consumed by all this.

Hope you got the right result from Mr H!

My dad claims he was in Terry Downes bookies when one of Terry's 'business associates' came round and smashed the place up.

Oh, it was a right rough-house, & Terry was a bit "wide" to say the least.

He opened a chain of quite a few LBO's in West London, but soon sold them to one of the (now) Majors.

These are priceless you know Tony.

People these days take photographs for granted, but it was a much more difficult and expensive process back then. I bet the avarage family didn't take half a dozen a year.

Taking 'photos back in the 50's was a right rigmarole.

You had to go into a darkroom to load the film, & somehow - in the dark - "spool it" onto the reel. And reverse to take it out. 12, sometimes 24, pics on a "reel".

Then down to Boots, who sent them away - "Photos developed in 7 days" was their boast.

And when you got them back, half never came out.

Cameras were huge, too.

Now we click a digi-cam, smaller than a fag packet, & that's that.

Uploading them to a web forum though, now that's a completely different kettle of fish!

I'm going to have to show you how to do the uploading properly one day Mr K.

I already know, I've got a 34 click short-cut now.

And the new 'phone is better now, as I've found a 17 click Text short cut, too.

lovely pictures tony and its always nice to lok back at family even if we dont always get on.
i love my family to bits but have to admit that they have to make the effort to come and see or ring me,im not really fussed either way.my mum, brother and sister ring each other regular but i just never feel the need.
now with my dad as most of you who know me will know it is different.i speak to my dad eveyday ring him or he rings me.i see him as much as possible.im not sure if this is because we are alike and have the same interests or because i also see him as one of my best mates and one of the nicest, coolest most laid back men i know.
seeing the photos of your dad has made me want to ring my grandparents and get some old photos of him out(lol)because i havent got any myself.

see you at the weekend :-)

I have been trying to Interview Tikay for weeks now, maybe if I put it on here he may get a chance to answer the questions

                                                  Tikays  Interview

Hullo Tikay please answer these questions

1. Do you still drive ?

2. Really, how many miles a week do you travel ?

3. Do prefer a manual or Automatic gearbox

4. Have you been on holiday this year, where did you go, (Vegas does not count ,that was work )

5. If you went abroad, where would you go.

6.. Did you ever travel on the flying Scotsman ?

7. Ever been on the Orient Express ?

8. Do you hate flying or just Helicopters

9. Has Compo ever let you finish a sentence

10. Have you got Sky TV in your house, which package, family, sport, films, or all of them

11. Apart from Angell is there anyone special in you life ?

12. Do the older poker ladies ever try to chat you up

13 Do you hate Dentists, I do can't stand'em

14 When you cook a big fry up, do you put the chips in first, or the sausages

James Anthony Kendall, (my Dad) as a young man. I still wear his gold ring - my only concession to jewellery - which has his initials on.

He was my Dad, my Brother, my best mate, everything. Not without his faults, but the world's kindest man.

Related to Flushy by any chance, or is it just me that sees the resemblance ?
