"James, Dan & I "? James Hartigan? Dan Lobb?
Is it you doing the nightly phone ins to the shows? or them as well?
what other programmes are you "making" (sorry that might not be the right jargon) when you are out there?
Claire soon recovered her composure. She's our Boss out here, (we'd better believe!) & pretty much runs the Fetham office, & she soon recovered. Not nice though, not at all nice.
I tried to take advantage of her temporary discomfitness by suggesting she took a Rest Day today. She said "no, you just want to play the Belllagio $1k or Venetian Deepie". Which, seen in a certain light, & literally interpreted, was, basically, if not in so many words, not entirely without foundation. aka, rumbled.
I played last night's Casesars $160, & lasted almost a level. Jen, & bookiebasher, both played it, too.
So I decided to get started on my Sky Poker Blogging, but had - still have- connection problems, & I can't access the Blog or Forum section from out here. Have sent a SOS to the Suits, no reply yet, & am very frustrated, it's what I'm here to do, & it's doing my head in. Hence I am up at 5am taking out my frustration on this keyboard.
Our Daily Team Briefing is at 10am today.
So, unable to Blog, I'm all a bit stressed & uncomfortable, not settled at all. I'd promised a Daily Blog, & can't deliver right now.

No. James Hartigan is on the Trip, but does not arrive until Wednesday.
It's James The Cameraman - great lad. He was tasked with doing the Bios for the Inteviews we have lined up - over 30 so far - & he did a wicked job. He's the first of the 2 pictures, below.
Dan, is Dan, "Runner" is his official title I think, "Runner" is how all those who wish to work BTS in TV start their TV career. Many of the blondes have seen him on the In-Poker shoots, & Kev gave him the nick "tikay's Bum-Boy", which is unfair, because he does not just look after me. But he does look aftger me very well. Great, great, lad, you'd want him for a Son. Beautifully mannered, diligent, pro-active, pleasing personality. I may love him a bit, actually. He's promised to bring me my morning Latte at 9.30am. In my room.

I am doing most of them, I think James (Hartigan) is doing 2, I can't recall right now. James has a VERY heavy schedule, with all the "proper" Big Name Interviews.
So I'll do them most days, Live from the Rio Cardroom floor, & I'm doing a couple to The Club, I think.
The wok schedule is quite complex, & highly organised. Claire is Mother Hen, & she organised the lot, start to finish, & woe betide anyone who fails to perform. She also allocates the Shift Rotas at Feltham. I'm nice to Claire, love her a bit, I think, though not as much as I love Dan.

Complicated that. We are NOT doing In-Poker from Vegas - that will return mid July, starting with the Unibet jobbie at The Vic.
To make the trip cost-effective, we gotta grab a LOT of "Content", general, non-time-sensitive, content.
So that's mainly interviews with faces. James Hartigan will do all the big Inteviews, thank God, as I'm crap at that sorta thing.
I will do the daily "to-Camera" work with our 5 Qualifiers, that will be on the Channel every night, the day after it's Filmed. (It has to get Edited). We will get as much footage of our Qualifiers as we possibly can. It's part of their Prize, to be fair.
Hopefully, that will all get made up into a 1 hour Vegas Special, as we did last year, & which came out rather well, if I may say so.
I'll also be doing the daily Rio Corridor "grab whoever is passing & Interview them" sort of thing, & general time-sensitive stuff which will be on the Channel the next night. Proper Alan Whicker, me.
My other Role is the Daily Blog, which I had high hopes of making pretty special, but I'm all messed up now, as I think the problem accessing the Sky Poker Blog is "my end" & I have no idea how to sort it. I think it's connected to my "Pop-Up" settings.
Here's the Work Schedule. The Vertical Columns are days. I'm Blue, James is Purple, Yellow is, err, I can't remember - Crew, I think. As you can see, I have a Rest day halfway through, but everything depends n how our players get on in their WSOP Events.

That's the worst thing about it - we were all ignorant of the problems. So imagine how bad we felt when we found out.
When we Boarded, Claire & I both had Window Seats in the same row, seperated by the Aisle Seats, & Aisle. When I nodded off, the Seats were empty, but I think the lads got upgraded at the last minute (we were in Premium Economy, upstairs) as the Flight was heavily overbooked. (464 passengers!).
And it's Claire, not Clare. That's you off next month's Rota. That's how it works, see.
Bit of a liberty, letting them Lads join us in Premium Economy. I should not have to mix, or travel with, members of the general public.
Flushy called me up yesterday, just after I arrived, "am at the Bellagio, come over", but I could not get hold of him when I tried to reply. Prob as well, he'd have me playing craps, or swimming in the Bellagio Fountains, flipping for $1k meals. Think I'll leave that to the Shrewds.

Me and Sir Donksalot can film In Poker for the next few weeks if you like. We both have charisma in spades.
British Gas can be in the hot seat. Let me know and I'll get something sorted out.

Thank for the offer, but a deep & insightful knowledge of Poker is a pre-requisite, & the ability to look good on Telly. So only British Gas qualifies.

Spotted at Gatters yesterday, & on our Flight, BookieBasher, aka Jamie Moult, aka Lucky Jim.
In the Ceasars $160 last night, he was on the next Table to me, & Jen the next Table along. Both were going nicely, when I exited. Before the End of Level 1.

That looks like Jim's nephew with him in the background. He used to play at Gala Notts and was a really nice bloke too.
