get some gr8 stuff for The Club please!
Well if you are after pornstar reviews and pictures of the inside of the mens toilets you are onto a winner imo...
It was in The Times, so it must be OK.
When you arriving here?
We arrive on the 8th. If Julian is still needing to get rid of dollars I think Steph is intending to bring Sterling with him and would be looking for some.
Hope to see you when we get over, we will probably come over to the Rio one day to say hello.
deal ty, tony to broker...
Did you win a comp julian?

He did, sort of.
He engineered a Nine-Way Chop, negotiating the equivelant of 2nd place for himself, & $45k into the bargain.
MBN to be Thewy.

Thewy magic running out. Tonight in Venetian he managed to take
up against
and fail to hold. I caught the moment on camera, unfortunately forgot the lead to upload it.

Well, amazingly, I've been here 4 whole days, & my feet have barely touched the ground yet.
We've worked hard, & got a lot done, & we had a "hot" day yesterday, with one of our 2 players in the $1,500 getting 41st from 2,813 runners, so we were very, very, pleased with that.
The weather for the next 3 days here is forecast to be "very heavy rain", which I'm delighted about, as the heat is positively brutal.
Not had time to hook up with any pals, though I've bumped into most everyone. Saw Jen & Cat goig to the UB Party the other night, Jen looked awesome in a sort of white dressy-top affair, & I saw Flops in the Media Centre.
Have sent home 4 or 5 Blogs, & done 12 or 15 pieces to camera, set up some nice Interviews, including Mike Sexton & Tony G, which is on top of an already bulging list of over 30 pre-planned Interviews. Work-wise, it's going well. We start daily at about 0930, & it's been 3am or 4am before I get done, which suits me fine, if I'm gonna work, I wanna work properly.
Have got lots of stuff to Diary, & scores, hundreds maybe, of 'photos to Upload, some of which may even be interesting. I hope to get the Diary updated on Thursday, been way too busy so far, & to be fair, as Sky are paying the cost of the Trip, they have to have priority.
On Monday, in quick succession, I bumped into, & chatted with, John Kabbaj & Jon Shoreman. It's quite amazing how that "National Anthem Story" has been twisted & manipulated, in typical Poker Forum stylee.
Got a great Interview on Monday with Pascal Perrault & his wife. I never realised she was the famous "Pink Lady" on Late Night Poker (Lise Vagessi?), she's now wearing "Poker770" branded apparel, as it seems hundreds of players out here are. I googled "Poker770" & it would appear it is "the worlds finest Online Poker Room". Well fancy that.
More tomorrow, I have to sleep now, I'm happily & satisfyingly wrecked. There are no clocks or calendars in Vegas, & I have absolutely no idea what time it is, or day it is. But I know tomorrow (today?) is a "Rest Day", so I hope to play a little poker, prob the Noon-Jobbie at Ceasars.
My room is "Non-smoking", so I just popped downstairs to have a cigarette before bed, & as I sat there, in my socks (could not be arsed to put shoes on), unwinding happily, I felt a a tap on my shoulder.
I looked round, & a young lady, boobs compressed in a tight bra to give maximum uplift & thus appeal one supposes, said "Hi Honey, fancy some nice company, I can give you a good time". Yuk. Imagine being tenth in line with one of these women? The mere thought is utterly repulsive, & yet many men openly boast about using them. The world's gone mad. Still, she never deccribed me as an "old man", so that's reassuring.

Of the hundreds of 'photos I've taken, I'll just Post one for now, (the rest shortly, be ready to be bored out of your skull) & maybe we can start a Caption Comp.
Speech & thought bubbles allowed, & the most subtle answer gets the prize. Not TOO coarse, please.
I give you Jeff Duvall, & Michelle Orpe.

Wowzer, I hit the jackpot today.
I got 5% of Thewy in the Biggie, & so I paid up pronto - he's so Golden I thought I'd better pay up sharpish. He's never done well in this, but today, he's sitting there chilled out, nice table, & he's up to 35,000.
And work-wise, it's been maybe the most productive day we've ever had in Vegas. After interviewing all the Sky Poker players, I interviewed Tony G (65,000) at the break, Phil Hellmuth, Greg Raymer, Jeffrey Pollack, Umberto Shark Bloke, all in the space of an hour, & James (Hartigan) did Mike Sexton, Jamie Gold, Neil Channing, Ian Frazer, J J Lui, & Juha Hellpi. And we still have 9 hours of filming opportunity left today - with three more "opening days" still to come. We sent back about 10 pieces yesterday, 8 the day before, & the same on Monday. The financing of the trip is based to some degree on securing a whole bunch of fresh, original, Content for the Channel, so we are doing OK so far, & on the playing side, our lad got 41st of 2,818 in the $1,500, so that was a big tick.
Even Mother Hen nearly smiled.
Neil is very sharp, & always good to Interview. He was a bit miffed today, as he was not wearing his BBP Logo, but he made up for it by weaving "Black Belt Poker" into his answers 73 times.
We are working as hard as hell here, but it's such a great experience, & I'm loving every moment.
We had our "Welcome Party" last night, in the Voodoo Lounge. It was the low point of my time in Vegas, with alcohol a-plenty, "social dining", la de da, & I'm just horrendously bad at that sort of thing, I'm so bloody uncomfortable, & fish-out-of-waterish. The longest 3 hours of my life, & I just can't get to be at ease in these situations. It's a weakness, but I don't know the answer. It's part of my job - a small part, admittedly - & I need to be better at it. We had an earlier Mini-Welcome Parrty when our first 2 players & guests arrived, but instead of wining & Dining them I took them to Ceasars to play some poker, & they absolutely loved the experience, & I felt I did my job very well, schmoozing & croozing like a Pro, & helping the Clients have a really great evening.
I think I'm just a miserable bugger really.
I'm supposed to do my Blog each night before bed, but I was so "down" about the Party last night that I could not make myself do it, so I went to bed with a mardy on at 1am.
I set the Alarm for 6am, & was as bright as a button this morning, because today I would be doing "proper work", which I enjoy, & I had the Blog finished by 8am, though it was more pictures than words.
I've just done a Live Phone-In to the Show, it was Orford & Compo, & Compo - wearing my shoes - was doing an absolutely brilliant job, he & Orford bounce off each other so well. Insecurity Rules.
