31 for this gameweek is pretty good imo.

Going to cost people deductions getting rid of Ronaldo and possibly Gerrard.

I've succumbed and get rid of my potential bargain signing of carlos edwards (5.0) and brought in Artetta now.
I still want to swap some players around but I am not willing to lose 4 points to make them yet.
And for crying out loud, when are man u or chelsea going to keep a clean sheet! Darn all these expensive defenders.... especially my captain for last night of Carvalho getting 0 points lol.

What the bloody hell is a wild card?  is it another free transfer or something?

yeah you get it once pers season all transfers that week are free of points deductions

i would if i was you use it this week

You get one wild card per season.
This allows you to make as many transfers as you like until the deadline for no point deductions.

As tighty mentioned, I'm hoping that when Terry comes back this weekend Chelsea's defence will stop letting goals in and those points will start coming in!

Manager of the Month - Competition Change

Right - the premierleague.com site doesn't show the points deducted on the weekly score when additional transfers are made - which makes working out what anyone scored in a particular week very difficult.  That's going to make working out the gameweek scores (and the combined scores to work out the Manager of the Month).

So it looks like we'll have to change things.

Fortunately, the league table shows the score for each calendar month it appears - well it shows 'August' at the moment, and I'm guessing it's going to show each month after that as well.

That means the spreadsheet doesn't need to show the gameweek scores.  I'll just update the total score and the score from each month taken from the premierleague.com site.

Manager of the Month will be determined by each monthly score - starting in September.  That will give us 9 Managers of the Month as before, but means the final month (May) will be a very short one (but it'll be exciting). 

Hope that explanation makes sense, and I also hope the reason we've changed the way the monthly prizes will be awarded is obvious as well.
