Sometimes you have to suffer a little bit in your youth to motivate yourself to succeed in later life. Do you think if Bill Gates got laid in high school, do you think there'd be a Microsoft? Of course not.

Buzzing so much! I played over 20 hours of the best poker of my life against some top, top players.... initially was gutted to come second but in retrospect its one of the best moments ever!

Cheers.....
I was one of only two Brits to enter a field of 180. It would have been so, so great to have won it. Over the microphone i was known as the Englishman and i had such a great rapport with most of the players.
I don't think the Scandies would ever have recovered if a Brit had come over and blitzed his way to to win the tournament.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k. “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi. Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.
